    Beautiful even if adapted to modern ears of the last two centuries. When it was sung by the Hussite armies it struck terror into the enemies. I wish I could have heard "Ktož jsú boží bojovníci" sung by 40,000 chests and mouths to the slow and dark roll of drums on the morning of the day of the Battle of Domažlice.

    This is sadly only the 3 verse chopped up version wich the communists propagated 1948-1989, the full version has alot.of more verses and more of an emphasis on Jesus Christ

      Glad to know this fact. But in my opinion, the lyrics used here are quite "spiritual" and portray God's role in the Hussite struggle.

      @@KomradTM I love the song in any portrailal to be honest, I sort off understand the shorter version it is faster to sing and more to the point.
