More information on Lara Fabian: Lara is recognized as one of the best vocalist ever seen on earth and all professionals list her in the top vocalist tier with Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Lisa Fischer, .... In my personal opinion, she is even the best. There are a few vocal characteristics that are her signature: her famous resonance for instance that allows her to sing acapella without mic in venues with 8,000 attendees. Her nickname in the singing world is "the ring" due to this. I would also list her amazing phrasing, breath management and her pleasant tone even when belting in her upper register. So she is one of the best vocalist ever, but on top of that, she adds a few things that make her an absolute package with no equivalence: • she speaks 4 languages fluently (french, italian, english, spanish), can speak a bit of sicilian, russian and dutch, and has sung in 12 languages in total • she is an amazing songwriter and wrote lyrics for most her songs, in the 4 languages she speaks fluently. The beautiful strong velvet voice of Lara Fabian is on the best whit a piano or a guitar Her performances can be called minimalistic. Fabian does not have backup dancers . She wears a strict dress code, light makeup, and a minimum number or usually no of pieces of jewelry , no flashy fingernails on stage. Her unique 4.1-octave voice (lyric soprano) is the only thing that the audience receives. Lara Fabian La Traviata of the concert ""intimité" 2003 : ruclips.net/video/lSHhHuCc4uk/видео.html
And here you are, about to go on another wonderful journey🥰 Lara is fabulous! Je Suis Malade should be next. It is absolutely amazing and you can see how she inspired Dimash's passionate delivery ♥️
Ciao William, fantastica reazione a lara in 12 minuti hai capito tutto di lei lara è il pacchetto completo, voce, tecnica, intelligenza, personalità ed è talmente bella che ti uccide. You have said it: She's emotionally involved. Yes, she is involved before she even starts singing! She is living those lyrics every step of the way hence the physical expression (body language including facial) and the emotional engagement. I said this to someone else that this story is such a private issue, one get the clear sense of intimacy that this lovely singer, Lara, conveys here. She does it so exquisitely and delicately. An absolute stunning and brilliant performance. Lara is hands down the true artist. Thank you for your beautiful, sensitive and worthy reaction and for you own praise of such a naturally gifted vocalist and musician. Blessings to you.

@@BangkokVoiceCoach ha ha! Well you do excellent analysis. I consider myself fortunate to have seen Lara Fabian in concert 10+ times over the years commencing in the lates 90's in Montreal. Many different venues and cities (Montreal, Quebec, Paris, Nice, Brussels, Lyons, DC, etc), she has never disappointed. The video of Caruso is fantastic. It's also of Lara in her early 30's. One key attribute of a great singer is longevity over time. While there are many great video options of Lara, I would suggest this one - Llora. It is a 40+ year old Lara in an epic setting (Kremlin Palace). This is one she wrote and is in Spanish (Lara is a true polyglot ). If you get a change, I think you will enjoy. Lara is now over 50 and still going strong. Fortunate to have seen her in Montreal this past June and was great :-)
Every performance from this show called From Lara With Love is superb, especially You're Not From Here, Adagio, Broken Vow and of course Je Suis Malade. Another great performance is her duo with Johnny Hallyday of the song Requiem Pour Un Fou in 1998 under the rain, legendary.
It is easy to see why our boy Dimash holds Lara in such high regard. They both put their heart and soul into their performances. I don't think you have reacted to Dimash singing Adagio, and as expected Dimash does it justice, but I feel Dimash would be the first to praise Lara in her rendition. Reggards Peter.
there are only two voices that always touch me, each in their own way and empathy and those are Lara Fabian and Floor Jansen. Those are real singers.🤟🏻🤟🏻🎶🎶
Never mind singing voice. I could listen to her talk all day. There's something about her timbre and vocal tone that is just captivating. She is just incomparable
I am so happy when i see someone discovering Lara Fabian. She deserves it because she has a so wonderful voice, she is A storyteller and a songwriter. I understood that you like opera. She made duet with dimitri horoskovsky and sumi Jo for the song TI AMO COSI. Wlth dimitri horoskovsky she made 2 duet : always and "Toi et moi". Beautiful!
Wow this is fascinating. I love Hvorostovsky. So tragic that he died young. He was the singer's Nureyev. I'd love to see this trio. So, Lara is a mezzo-soprano?
Awesome reaction BVC. Awesome. You captured our Queen so so well. So very cool you know the song well and the backstory on the author, and the man Caruso. Fun fact - Lara sings - Gulf of "Surriento" not Sorrento - not a mistake. "Surriento" is the Neapolitan word for Sorrento, a word which Caruso would have used (He was born in Naples). LARA. MISSES. NOTHING. I "discovered" Lara 18 months ago. I was awed, then angry. How on earth had I not heard her before ??? I am a bit of a musical nut, amateur musician, and listen to all forms of music from all over the world. Seemed inconceivable that a talent this large, for me the greatest pop\classic concert artist of the last 30 years, a talent this unique had somehow escaped me. 18 months later I have listened to most everything available live. While her recordings are great, nothing beats Lara Live. She is the Queen, long may she reign. - Her voice. A conundrum. There is something hard to pin down about her voice....warm but strong. Her whole head must be vibrating. Many sound like tin, or are basically yelling. ---Lara sounds full, easy, warm yet powerful. And as she goes up the octave, she can carry the weight and the warmth, with it. When she switches to a "head" voice, as I have heard experts call it, sometimes you barely notice. Usually you can easily tell when they switch over to a head voice. "When did she switch?" , "How did she do that?" are things I have heard experts say. Not been able to figure it out as I am not a vocal expert, but her voice just kills me. 2 voices, Lara and Luciano can make me cry just hearing them. I am old enough to have seen Luciano live...someday I must see Lara.
Your comments are so on point Justin. For me the first “Je suis” in Je suis malade is the best, the smoother and most unnoticeable, transition between chest and head voices I’ve ever listened to. And I love her tone in her upper register: still warm, full, no pain, no stretch, no tension. It’s so comfortable to hear, we believe it can last forever.
@@BangkokVoiceCoach ruclips.net/video/UrYqnbc0C8A/видео.html Je suis malade is a 1973 song by Alice Dona and Serge Lama. First performed by Lama with no success, Dalida recorded the song the same year receiving widespread success
Enrico Caruso (*1873 in Naples, † 1921 ibid; actually Errico Caruso) was an Italian opera singer. He is considered the most famous lyrical tenor of the early 20th century and one of the most important singers in the world of opera. Caruso was famous for his baritone-like timbre and stage presence. In a performance of La Bohème he sang an aria for the suddenly voiceless bass so convincingly that no one in the audience noticed. Caruso established a new, exemplary style of singing in which the focus was not on beautiful performance but on becoming one with the character being portrayed. Caruso is the name everyone knows and to which every opera singer is compared. Those who have seen him describe the onset of his voice with the warm power of an organ. Caruso still holds the record of 863 appearances on the Metropolitan Opera stage. And it was Caruso who initiated the triumph of the record with his work. Caruso's generosity was legendary. For example, during his most successful years at the Metropolitan Opera, he gave almost all employees Christmas presents. His sense of humor was also famous. Again and again he joked with his stage colleagues, for example sewing up a sleeve of a coat that a colleague in La Bohème had to wear during the performance, or filling water in a discarded hat that someone had to wear in the performance. 3 years before his death he married the American millionaire daughter Dorothy Park Benjamin. With her he had a daughter, Gloria, at the age of 45. He died at the age of 48 from protracted pleurisy and blood poisoning. One of my favorite performances of any artist of all time. Please check out her live version of "Adagio" from this same concert (Dimash did it as well, but she wrote the lyrics and performed it 20 years earlier - it's her song), or "Je suis malade" for an incredibly intimate storytelling song.

Hi there William! This must be the most perfect and greatest introduction ever to a video to be reacted. Just wonderful with all that information. Thank you for that alone. 😁 This is the ultimate standard of live vocal performance. If somebody asks me and give me no choice but to choose, to pick just one performance and song by any artist, it would be this. I think this performance is the perfect perfection. There is absolutely nothing to correct or change in here. Not a single second or note or gesture anyware. And her vocals and voice and emotions and living that song is just breathtakingly gorgeous with that surreal vocal control. Even her speaking parts are music to ears. And then there is that Voice! Voice that melts all the ice in this world. This is the masterclass above everything else. That song just can't be performed better. Ever. Never. By anyone. Thank you for finally reacting Lara and this Gem. 😎

Esto no es solamente musica es ademas puro arte una interpretacion magistral se siente su voz que te llega y te penetra el corazon
Wonderful reaction. She also sings with Dimash, a song called Ti amo cosi. It’s a breathtaking performance featuring ice skaters and an orchestra.
The beautiful strong velvet voice of Lara Fabian is on the best whit a piano or a guitar
Her performances can be called minimalistic. Fabian does not have backup dancers . She wears a strict dress code, light makeup, and a minimum number or usually no of pieces of jewelry , no flashy fingernails on stage. Her unique 4.1-octave voice (lyric soprano) is the only thing that the audience receives.

Simply MASTERFUL!
And here you are, about to go on another wonderful journey🥰 Lara is fabulous! Je Suis Malade should be next. It is absolutely amazing and you can see how she inspired Dimash's passionate delivery ♥️
Lara✨❤️✨
Best female singer and live performer.Lara❤❤❤❤
She is the real beast live. Her performances from the same concert as this song are insane!

Bravo William, Dimash and Lara singing together in Tiamo Cosi fantastic, and please listen from him Passione, masterfull. Thankyou
Can't wait to see it!
@@BangkokVoiceCoach William, I expect that you will of course make a reaction to this composition (Ti amo cosi) from Dimash's channel. But just for yourself I also advise you to watch fancams, which show only the singers in close-up, without being distracted by the skaters.

Yay! More Lara. Can't wait. Je Suis Malade would be great.
Yes for sure.
I love your reactions cause you give the history of the song the artist and alot of facts it's cool keep up the great work
What a wonderful critique - loved it! Yes, please do more Lara in the future.
Someone who calls my video a “critique” is my new best friend. 😂❤️🙏
Wow. Great recommendations here. 🙏
Adagio, Je t'aime, there are a number of great performances from Lara, she was underrated
Yay!!!! Lara Fabian finally!!! Please please more! You have just opened Pandora's box and I will follow your journey. Enjoy!
😂🙏
there are only two voices that always touch me, each in their own way and empathy and those are Lara Fabian and Floor Jansen. Those are real singers.🤟🏻🤟🏻🎶🎶
Yes they are!!
Never mind singing voice.
I could listen to her talk all day.
There's something about her timbre and vocal tone that is just captivating.
She is just incomparable
My favourite female singer of all time ❤
I am so happy when i see someone discovering Lara Fabian.

@@BangkokVoiceCoach i know nothing about technique. but i think that she is a soprano .
Oh yes more réactions of Lara please. I enjoy your pro vision. Good travel on Lara's land
Wow great reaction! many thanks
Lara is an angel ! she has so many beautiful songs that you can listen to
Man, you need to hear Broken Vow, Je suis malade and Adagio. Fantastic.
Nice react. yyes, she is very emotional, brillant singer and super inteligentI. ts time for more Lara.
@@ericsicard910 I choose to believe it - lol
@@ericsicard910 soooo true - She makes me cry - and I am not a cryer
Loved this she is absolutely amazing...but ...je suis malade from Lara with love will absolutely blow your mind and break your heart
This week, I promise. I haven’t looked at it yet but I’m trying to work out: did Lara write the song 20 years ago? Was it a big hit in Europe?
@@BangkokVoiceCoach ruclips.net/video/UrYqnbc0C8A/видео.html
Je suis malade is a 1973 song by Alice Dona and Serge Lama. First performed by Lama with no success, Dalida recorded the song the same year receiving widespread success
They both performed Adagio, the same song, but sung in a completely different way. Just awesome🎶🎶🤟🏻🤟🏻
Muy buena reacción, Lara es una ARTISTA extraordinaria, no hay palabras para definir su enorme talento.

(www)

Beautiful
lara me emociona. nunca escuché y vi a alguien cantar e interpretar así. es increible
Incredibile.
One of my favorite performances of any artist of all time. Please check out her live version of "Adagio" from this same concert (Dimash did it as well, but she wrote the lyrics and performed it 20 years earlier - it's her song), or "Je suis malade" for an incredibly intimate storytelling song.
👍👍👍from New Zealand: Dimash & Lara fan. (Ti Amo Cosi) by: Dimash, Lara and Aida Graifullian. Dimash is a big fan of Lara Fabian; sorry l don't have the link.
She is so beautiful, so is her voice. She is Dimash's favourite singer. They sang together a few times already. Lovely
I love this.
Yes, I do enjoy your comments and interpretation of her singing and the song she sang.
I absolutely love this performance!
Welcome to stage artistry singing and Lara’s story singing world.
I also love Broken Vow
Thank you for your insightful reaction to Lara's masterpiece version of "Caruso". I commend you to Eric's great comments, where you will understand both why and how Lara is such a supreme artist.
Having started a journey down the Lara rabbit hole, I have subscribed and look forward to seeing you bewitched by her again.
muito bom !!!
Bravo, bellissimo video.

She and Michael Jackson are the top 2 idols of Dimash. If you hear a little more her songs, you will see from where Dimash bring a lot of things to his music and why he loves to sing in differents languages. They are friends now, she even wrote the lyrics for his music "Your Love".
good reaction! Now listen to her to her "je suis malade" - one of the saddest love songs ever...... then listen to Forestella's cover!!!!
Can’t wait to catch up with Je Suis Malade.
@@BangkokVoiceCoach Take care to choose a video of the same concert "From Lara with love" and with engliwh subtitles, it's important for this one. You will understand why when you will see it.

You clearly enjoyed that. Well done, especially the singing along.
I did enjoy it. I love this song and the background makes it so interesting.

Hi there William! This must be the most perfect and greatest introduction ever to a video to be reacted. Just wonderful with all that information. Thank you for that alone. 😁
This is the ultimate standard of live vocal performance. 😎
Fantastic reaction, thank you!
You need now watch her video of "Je suis malade" and "Je t'aime live at Paris" in that order.
