Yes the Catholic Church is the one TRUE CHURCH
The true church is one THAT OBEYS God's commandments. The RCC completely removed the 2nd commandment from the Decalogue and transferred the Sabbath of GOD from the 7th day to the 1st day of the week. Jesus Himself said : (Math. 5:18-20) For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law (DECALOGUE), till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall BREAK one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called THE LEAST in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Proof: (Rev 22:14) Blessed are they THAT DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may HAVE RIGHT to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city (KINGDOM OF GOD). (1 John 2:4) 4 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

I love Saint Peter. The more I learn about God and the Saints, the more I understand God picks the Right People every time.
Saint Peter not being perfect, gives me hope, because I am far from perfect. Yet look at where he got with the help of Our Lord? Jesus took his hand and pulled him back up. Jesus does that for us too every time we stumble.
Our Beloved Jesus fell 3 times during his passion... I feel like each time was 1 million times for us.
Take His hand... He will be the perfect for you.
My personal reason for staying with the Church is.. Our Mother.. Any church that doesn't give her the honor and respect due to The Mother of our God, I want nothing to do with. She is His Mother (Daughter, and Spouse)... Do you really think He's going to be happy with someone telling the world His Mother is not important?
I will stay where God's family dwells. Amen.
So true !. . . ,and let's not forget someone just as imperfect & broken, if not worse, given the gifts he was given, . ., King David, who was guilty of murder, and adultery, among others. But, and it's an important but, unlike King Saul before him, David had a repentant heart, as the prophet Samuel, I think explained as he anointed him as future king when he was a simple young shepherd! So, yes indeed, there's hope for us sinners, if we have the right heart, and keep seeking Him humbly. 🙏🏻

Well, actually the Orthodox also venerate the saints & BVM. But the RCC was the original Church founded by Jesus.

The Catholic church saved my life at 14, a monk and Priest from a close by Benedictine Monastery choose to get involved and became my Guardian and put me through Catholic high school. After graduation i joined the Navy and became a Nurse. If they didnt get involved i would have ended up as a juvenile delinquent or at a boys home messed up.
Instead i learned and practiced and read about the early Desert Fathers like St Anthony, macarious, abba john the dwarf, Abba moses, and others. I was always in the monasteries huge library reading also about st john the cross and other religious orders. Even to this day at 47, i dream and remember that peace on earth paradise of them monks their, they had their faults and were human, but to me they were angels on earth, and treated me so well. I miss all of them. So much. I wanted to be a monk, but they told me to first go out into the world and work and educate myself, which i did. Nursing degree.
But i still want to be a monk deep down to the very core of my soul, heart and mind.
And thankyou Jesus Christ for saving my life and for your Catholic church on earth that you have left us Catholics to have for our life and the sacraments throughout our life that we need. Thankyou Jesus again so much.
If you are free to....try becoming a monk...you seem very drawn to...God's grace show you and bless your journey

This is 100 💯 percent correct. I was very moved when I came across this quote yesterday. Now I know why the Catholic Church calls it the "grace of repentance". I thought this is was my personal simple conversion. story in how I came to be baptized by The fire Holy Spirit. But when I read this, I got super excited, because it's literally saying that without this grace of becoming the prodigal son/ daughter of God the Father, we do not get to achieve the conversion necessary to receive the Holy Spirit. I'm excited and a little sad at the same time, because it's not a "feel good" or "light- hearted" message, and about 90 percent of the people don't feel like listening to it. But without the second baptism by The Spirit in our lives, what spiritual progress can we possibly.make without Him? His Grace? His wisdom? His joy? His light? His Peace? His fire of charity? His breath of life...? Do you see where I'm going with this, my dear brothers and sisters...?!? I will do whatever our Father's will is, for the rest of my life, if I can only help bring one more soul to His truth and to His light...
Lord Jesus, please help us all see with the eyes of your holy Charity! Lord Jesus, I thirst for souls, to bring them to you.

If I sound desperate, it's because I am...Even after I was "born again" and "made a new creation" and healed and then baptized by The fire of The Holy Spirit and had my heart pierced by our Lord, Jesus Christ", my heart of stone 🪨 did not get completely smashed" until 3 full years later! Yes, Jesus appointed Peter as the head of the Catholic Church an imperfect man, He chose humanity including in all the Apostles to spread His word & His saving grace. It is through the Holy Spirit the Paraclete that guide's our Church through Jesus Christ our savior.
But God can get rid of the rot. The Bible tells us that nothing is impossible with God.

There are some religions that teach that the Church wasn't established until Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to the Apostle's, whom Jesus promised. A timely message Fr. Mark! I needed to hear this. It's a shame some disgruntled Catholics are leaving the church because of the Pope's document on blessings. I personally find his document unnecessary and ambiguous, but I will not abandon the church founded by Christ. Popes come and go, but the Catholic Church has survived for more than 2000 years. God will continue to protect His church on Earth.

I might go to the Vatican, but not alone.
The Catholic Church has endured a lot and is still standing. Many other Christian churches can’t admit that. Many times, their ideas and churches last a generation and then die out. The Catholic Church also adheres to its core teachings for the most part. Protestant churches can’t make that claim, except the evangelical churches.

Actually the Orthodox have a Eucharist too. They were once part of us and never lost that component of the mass. I'm not sure about the Lutherans, but i know the other Christian offshoots lost it because they were founded after Thomas More's beheading and Henry VIII's adultery and founding his own church to accept his actions.
