    It's Christmas Eve here, in Serbia, and I am spending it with Artur Rehi, while sending wishes to my Ukrainian brothers on the front. Hold on, heroes! Victory is never fast and never cheap. But freedom is something no one ever regretted fighting for.

      I know those of you fighting for the defense of the free world, even with all of its faults, I haven't had nearly the support you deserve. But that is recognized and in any way possible that many of us can we have been trying to get our support over there. In times like this it can be very frustrating how slow government is and how easily disinformation and propaganda can derail assistance that entire countries might want to send. That's about the only strong tool set that the modern Soviet police state has perfected for its warring... Information warfare, disinformation, propaganda, and creating uncertainty

    As one warrior to another with depression problems, you're doing great. I know that on the outside we function above average. Sometimes throwing people of who dont understand the battle we have down inside. Keep it moving and dont slow down, at the same time take breaks for yourself and especially your family above all else.
    You are a real human and enjoy humor and flat honesty. That's what I admire in you and your patriotism. Stay the course, dont give in and you'll be successful in life and work.

      Sometimes reaching the solution is easier than what you think: You only have to ask God in the name of The One who can cure all the issues, mental or not, and obey and trust Him: Lord Jesus Christ who Saves us from autodestruction 'voices' inside the head (i know them), And you all will be restored from little to little.

    I watched Lex Fridman’s interview with President Zelensky. Respect that he didn’t want to do it in the language of his aggressor. The dubbed version in English is standard and very well done. Slava Ukraini.

    • @Hrutz36
      @Hrutz36 25 дней назад +2

      oh yes? so you watched the AI dubbing version where zalensky speak english correct? watch original he speaks mostly Russian and very poor ukrainian but mostly Russian.

    • @TheForestCrone
      @TheForestCrone 25 дней назад +6

      After watching that, I have no doubt Zelensky's administration is working with psychologists who understand what makes Trump tick. Zelensky's language was so, so perfectly adapted to Trump's ego, and it's well-known you can get your way with Trump if you play up to his ego. When Zelensky used the line, "world leaders call after I speak with Trump and that's never happened before, never happened" that was spoken directly to Trump, in Trump's language. Masterfully done.

    • @paulbrouyere1735
      @paulbrouyere1735 25 дней назад +2

      @@Hrutz36Yes I watched the AI dubbed version. I neither speak Russian nor Ukrainian. Just repeating what Zelenskiy stated at the beginning. I know they both speak Russian fluently, so it fits as common language for most part of the interview.

    • @maxnikolenko2302
      @maxnikolenko2302 24 дня назад

      So how does that make Zelenski look to the global south?
      It makes him look like a pompous racist who hates all the Russian people, and ignores many Russians who went out into the streets and protested against Putin amd this war in Ukraine, and many ended up in prison serving 5 to 10 years. What about those Russians? If Zelenaki wants the Russian peoples support, then its best to show it by saying he loves the Russians people, but not the current Russian government. All he does is push people away, even those who in Russia who supoort him, and no matter what he claims, in Ukrraine, if you are caught speaking Russian, you will gwt beaten, and then taken to jail. That happens a lot. People in Ukraine who always spoke Russian, are intimidated into learning only Ukrainian. Not a very democratic look for Zelenskis regime

    • @maxnikolenko2302
      @maxnikolenko2302 24 дня назад

      And yes, Moscow pays me in crypto currency for spreading this propaganda. You dont have to blame me for beeing a Russian propagandist...the United states sees the foreign currency comming into my bank account from Russia, and the FBI and CIA have no clue why...Amazing😂

    I am a child of the late 80ies, therefore I can still navigate with a map an Compass. If I never learned to do so, spoofing and jamming would leave me completely without orientation. That is the situation a lot of the russians in the Kursk region now find themselves in. BUT: The same is true for the ukrainians. Their communication is jammed, too. The difference is, the ukrainians could plan for this, the russians can only react. This constitutes the small advantage, on wich this offensive seems to rely. Well done by the planners.

    • @alexarbuckle1253
      @alexarbuckle1253 26 дней назад +5

      but, it seems, UA forces now have better jamming, and one tactic that can be used, okay, no jamming from 5:17 to 5:23. your guys know this and use that time to attack, you make your enemy fight on your ow timetable

      A keen observation my friend. Now it's up to the Ukrainian command to have guest enough possible reactions the Russians could have made to the point where they could completely collapse a portion of a front line but I don't see that happening quite yet. I believe the current probes are diversionary. Hard to know history will be an interesting thing to study in the near future. I just wish there weren't so many dead men involved or dead anybody's.

    • @pouncet1683
      @pouncet1683 24 дня назад

      Communication is possible through own jamming. You leave agreed on windows without jamming, the opposition can not take advantage because they do not know when.

    • @aurelbongers2038
      @aurelbongers2038 24 дня назад

      @@pouncet1683 Yes, but as you say, they need to stop the jamming for that. It is hard to have both at the same time. Possibly they even prepared communication by cable.

    I don't know about everyone else, but I have a few channels I watch for Ukraine news, to try and get a more rounded opinion. So when Artr leaves for a bit I'm not left gasping for input, I just keep watching those channels. But Artr gives a great delivery and provides a really interesting insight into the war, so when I do see videos come up, I just get happy and watch them, because of course I do. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that it's okay to leave for a bit and come back because your content is good, I'm not here out of loyalty, but because your videos give genuine value.

    lol, USMC vet here. The Abrams will run through 4 feet of mud. I know this because we used to have PT runs in single file on the tank trails. Run into the puddles caused by the tank treads and even the 6'3" guy was swimming at few points. We weren't allowed to go around the puddles. I say puddle, but some were 20-30 ft long and 3-4 feet wide (2 side by side, some were one large puddle). Most were about 4 feet deep, though there were a few that got deeper at hard turns. Guys in the back keep pushing as you start to go in, and then you transition to pulling as you came out the other side. If you don't go fast enough, you get to do it again.

    the importance of the Kursk incursion is that it's obvious proof that Russia is at full capacity deployed, if they still had a second army in reserve, they'd have deployed it now and the incursion would have been over within a week... the fact that they couldn't do that shows that this is what they have, and meanwhile the ruble is going down and the inflation is making the life of Russians harder.

      kursk is a completely politically motivated strategy to buy the headlines of western media to show paint Ukraine in a certain way. This in turn gives more support and incentives from allies, mainly the US to supply Ukraine. It has nothing to do about Russian deployment capacities. At this point in time Ukraine is essentially trading men in Kursk in return of potential supplies. Risky move when the Russians are on a slow steam roll in the Donbas and desertion within the Ukrainian army is at an all time high.

    And with sanctions, they can't get ahold of a few cases of Dawn. I was living in FL during BP's Deepwater Horizon disaster and Proctor & Gamble donated their Dawn dishwashing stuf to cleaning up the birds and critters affected by the oil. And it worked so well that, years later, I was in a politics chat and mentioned Dawn. Almost everybody in the chat not only used it, but cited P&G's donation as a major thumbs up for the corp and the product.

    My friend Artur, I saw an interview with a Russia military analysts. He talked about NOTICEABLE improvement in the Ukranian Combined Arms Operations in this attack.
    On the drones, he pointed out two big issues: 1) Ukrainian (ANY really) EW jammers tend to be universal - they shut down ALL drones in their range. So, in order to attack, you need your drones….. which means you have to coordinate when, precisely, to turn them on and off. You want your own drones to fly but hinder your opponent’s drone operations and you can’t do BOTH at the same time.
    2) Both sides have recognized the importance of and, thus hastily developed and fielded new models on an almost daily basis.
    Now, the interesting part is the two sides’ approach to the “I’ve got a tactical problem, build me a drone to deal with it” problem.
    Russia, being Russia, favors a top-down approach. You send your requirements up and some over-arching board/design bureau will get back to you….. hopefully….. some day.
    Ukraine is going the exact opposite route. Ad hoc ‘drone shops’ are attached to virtually every level of the Ukrainian force structure, including as far down as the Company level.
    The frontline soldiers just describe what they need and the drone nerds build it.
    If a particular model proves itself to be effective, plans for it get distributed across the force.
    I’m not in a position to say, myself, but given how disposable battlefield drones are, the Ukranian model of design and production seems better to me. The interviewer seemed to reinforce that opinion, though.

      Fiber optical drones are dominating right now. Russias.

    • @MrSmithla
      @MrSmithla 24 дня назад

      @ That mechanical adaptation is a response to jamming and the attempts to overcome it. We’re seeing, albeit in almost real time, the move-countermove of the development of military, specifically, drone technology.
      The question posed by the analyst I saw is “which ‘model’ of drone development is, ultimately, more effective: the top-down approach of the Russians or the bottom-up model favored by the Ukrainians.”
      I freely admitted I don’t have enough data to, in an ultimate sense, accurately adjudicate that but from the comfort of my armchair, were I forced to lay good money, I might have to push my chips in on the Ukranian model.
      I assess the very fluid and dynamic nature of the drone conflict, the tactical needs changing from day to day and place to place and the simplicity of the drone components (Its pretty much all off the shelf technology, no?) that designing and producing the drones locally seems to me more likely to produce better results.
      I might liken it to the notion that an overarching, top down design approach to ANY tool produces a ‘Swiss Army knife:’ one thing that tries to be everything but doesn’t do any one task as well as a cheap, purpose built tool meant to accomplish only one task. These tools are, of course, rather disposable, no?

    Kursk has no tactical value, but the suggestion that it does not have strategic value is wrong. Kursk has massive strategic value to Ukraine as it is Russian lands and as such is an extremely valuable negotiating tool. Slava Ukraine. VPDFO!

      What is there to negotiate when holding something like 500 square km and same time losing rest of Donetsk soon.... Ukraine can't hold that area forever and right now it can actually serve Russia more. All the best units of Ukraine are tied to Kursk and getting nowhere while Russia is steadily getting more and more of Donetsk. Kurakhove fell and Toretsk is falling as we speak here and Pokrovs is starting to get partially en encircled soon. If Pokrovsk falls Kursk offensive starts to looke like huge mistake.

    • @verttikoo2052
      @verttikoo2052 25 дней назад

      🤦🏻‍♂️ In the Kursk area there is the gas pumping station that did feed the pipeline through Ukraine still feeds the pipeline going to Turkey. If that pumping station goes kaboom then 🎉 Ruzzia loses massive amounts of gas revenue. Then there is the logistics and then there is the nuclear station. Now let’s remember that Ruzzia still occupies the Ukrainian nuclear power plant. So no strategic value? I call 🐂 💩 Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮

    • @tindikukka
      @tindikukka 25 дней назад +1

      @verttikoo2052 But Ukraine is stuck in Kursk now with best units and gets nowhere. Same time they just lost Kurakhove, Toretsk is practically lost and Russia has managed to cut off one main supply road to Pokrovsk. It means that they most likely try now operationally encircle Pokrovsk as they have done to many towns in last month's. If Ukraine doesn't have some real surprise coming soon, it starts to look like Russia benefits more of it that Ukraine has best troops tied to Kursk because they get Donetsk. Pretending that all good doesn't give any land to Ukraine. They lose all the time land steadily. Also they have problem with soldiers who run away from units like this brigade which was trained in France. 1700 men ran away to avoid frontline. Ukraine has fought long time but it doesn't look good now despite pr offensive in Kursk.

    • @verttikoo2052
      @verttikoo2052 25 дней назад

      @ Ruzzia loses over hundred men per square kilometer of farm land they “conquer”. In Kursk they lost 15000? men in few days already. Cutting Ruzzian military logistics is extremely important for the Ukrainians.
      Best tank is the one that never leaves the factory because the factory went kaboom. Second best tank is the one that goes kaboom in the depot. Third best tank doesn’t have fuel because the oil refinery/oil depot/pipeline/train went kaboom.
      Kursk also splits nicely the Ruzzian troops. For the Ukrainians it is good that they select the place where to fight instead of letting that decision for the Zombies.
