Drive-By Truckers @The Fillmore in San Francisco 6/29/24 "Surrender Under Protest"

Really interesting combination of a band deeply rooted in the realm of Southern Rock, harnessing an updated Muscle Shoals sound, yet lyrically absolutely antithetical to the stereotypical Southern politics of those turbulent times the Shoals’ studio was churning out the hits. Think “Woke with an SG and well worn denim” (all of which is just fine and dandy in my book).
