That's Dappy, Shotty Horroh, and Ed Sheeran. Let me just say though I'm not a fan of most of Ed's music but I challenge anyone to sit down and listen to any of his songs, not recorded, but live and then come back and tell me the dude ain't one of the most talented guys around. With Dappy it's more straight forward, he's the all singing all dancing UK hip hop older lyrical powerhouse. When people say "that's raw" they're talking about someone doing something special, but Dappy does it on the daily. Shotty Horroh is more of a hard sell. His battle rap career, though successful within that subculture, could put people off him because battle rap trades the nuances competent music in favour of crowd pleasing, "disses" and comedic value/shock factor. But if you listen to some of the music he has made his word play and the way he bounces syllables from base to base is fucking out of this world. But it ain't perfect. Like a diamond in the rough, its value is quite evident, but to reach its potential it needs the rough edges grinding out.
