      @kate_isawesome1207 I disagree. First and last are quality of life changes, and fit minecraft. The second one looks and feels like a mod, you can tell it isn't from minecraft, which isn't the style I personally like. And calling Mojang lazy is a bit unfair considering they are under Microsofts control.

Item stand one intrigued me most though, what if the amount of bars you placed on the floor conducted a redstone signal at 1/4, 2/4 and 3/4 strength in respect to the amount of bars, would be super cool to implement into machines I bet and maybe they could be in jungle temples to make them have more treasure finally

    First and third are definitely things that could plausibly be added to vanilla. The second one feels more like a mod. Minecraft generally tries to avoid complex voxel objects. It doesn't make 3d models of sprite items most of the time (to save on rendering. Java is extremely inefficient and bedrock needs to be on all sorts of devices.)
    You might remember a while back they said that you could brush suspicious sand and gravel and stuff to find treasures? And in the announcement video the sand/gravel would be dusted down like snow layers that turn into full blocks, but backwards. When the brush and suspicious blocks were eventually added, they had almost fully abandoned that presentation because it was just resource-inefficient in the software.

      Its cool, but honestly there's only like... maybe 3 potions id ever actually use tipped arrows for, and trading is just a more convenient way of getting those than brewing the potions
      But I'm also not a majority of the playerbase so this isn't me trying to say its pointless, just that personally in my thousands of hours I've never really felt a need to go out of my way to even get them, let alone enough to need an efficiency boost.

      @TV_body_else3636 25 дней назад

      um yeah no shit, everyone knows that at this point and i think moving this ability to fletching tables is much better considering that without the ability to make tipped arrows fletching tables will just become a fancy way to craft arrows unless you give it the ability to make new arrow types, while as cauldrons could do much more like keeping the ability to place potions in them but letting them put potion effects on armour like imagine boots that gives you jump boost when you wear them or some leggings that give you speed boost, the possibilities are endless, maybe also restrict some effects like bad omen and make some potions only be able to be used on certain armour types like night vision only being available on helmets

    • @Z38_US
      @Z38_US 21 день назад

      @TV_body_else3636 Potion effects on armor?
      If these effects were to be permanent that would be very broken even if it is limited to a certain armor piece, if they are timed the whole system becomes unnecessary because you might aswell just throw the potion on you whenever you need it (or drink it I guess) making putting it on armor pointless.

  • @GameJam230

    I love the item stand concept a lot. Tbh, even if they didn’t go all out and make it a full 3D model but just made an item frame that leans diagonally like that, it’d still be a nice little feature. It’s work well for making electronic panels in ships and control station builds by placing map art into it, as it’d be a diagonally leaning map stand. It’d be nice if in addition to that, players had limited control over the angle it rotated the item at, so it could either be straight forwards or up like an item frame (also allowing for secret facade passages like paintings), or it could be at 6 or so different angles between those, giving 8 rotations like an item frame, but in the forward-up axis instead of the right-up axis.

    The issue with the tipped arrows is that you can already make a stack of them if you put the potion in a cauldron. That's why the fletching table in general has no use, there really isn't much they can do with it because all of the arrow stuff has already been filled out. They'd have to add some new arrow/bow mechanic to be able to give it function, like the smithing table and netherite

      That’s only in bedrock tho

    • @TheRealSU24
      @TheRealSU24 28 дней назад +3

      @Steezeburger15 yes but Mojang wouldn't add a redundant feature for the fletching table on Bedrock, just so that Java can craft a stack of tipped arrows. Especially since they're constantly doing parity updates, so potion cauldrons will eventually come to Java

      @TV_body_else3636 25 дней назад

      @TheRealSU24 25 дней назад +1

      @TV_body_else3636 damage over time arrows already exist, but I like the idea of exploding arrows and I agree with the ability to craft more arrows for cheap. Maybe a bunch of new arrow types would be the way to go to give it more use than crafting more arrows though. Explosive arrows, like you said, they could also do a grapple hook arrow that works like the hook from the potato update. I'm sure they could come up with more, but stuff like that would be cool

    • @TV_body_else3636
      @TV_body_else3636 25 дней назад +2

      @TheRealSU24 yeah i forgot about flaming and poisonous arrows but both of those can be invalidated by water or milk so a true DOT arrow would be quite nice. maybe they could use the dragon's breath for that. and also btw make the icons for different levels of tipped arrows different, maybe make the tip more tipped with each level

    I would love an Arts and Crafts update, adding items like: Easel, Canvas and Custom painting. We do have to use that PC mouse/ touch screen for something, right? Let alone a Dual Screen mode.

    In bedrock we can make tipped arrows by literally dipping the arrow in a full potion cauldron. It doesn’t even need to be lingering.
    Y’all should get that, it places the tipped arrows in the mid-to-late game instead of post-game, which makes way more sense.

    I'd like if feathers could be dyed, and by using the fletching table, you can put different colored feathers for the feathering on the arrows to be colors like red, blue, purple, etc. Or, you could add multiple feathers to it, making the colors red and blue, orange and purple, and so on.

    I think just porting the Bedrock way to make tipped arrows would be a bit better but the more efficient arrow craft would be a nice touch

    I prefer Bedrock’s method of creating tipped arrows, where you can dump potions into a cauldron and right click your arrows to get the tipped variation. Way cheaper and colored water in cauldrons is amazing for decoration.

    Fun fact, on bedrock edition you can put potions in cauldrons. You can then take an arrow and click on the cauldron to tip it.

    The rest are fine but the first isn’t. The cauldron is used for tipped arrows. Maybe make it so that arrows cannot be crafted anymore, but only at the fletching table

    My favourite is definetly the treasure item display. I think an update all qbout displaying your treasure items would go alongside the release of the minecraft movie really well, as it would allow players to recreate scenes from the minecraft movie better, and overall I think the minecraft movie does go to show just how much more ways to decorate interiors is needed in the game.
    Also, considering what we know of 1.22 (being 4 emojis, two of flowers, one of the sun and one of calenders) if we were to assume upcoming updates were to add things from the minecraft movie, perhaps we may see new kinds of plants? The minecraft movie features new types of crops like broccoli and smaller trees and thin logs. I hope the calender hints at maybe a sniffer overhaul, with perhaps a ton of a new ancient plants that you maybe have to go to different biomes to get? Kinda like the test villager changes? Idk. Very exciting.

    First and last ones are a yes, but for the item display it’s not rly a must. Honestly it feels like it should stay as a mod anyways plus now that addons are a feature to bedrock it can probs be added in anyways so it’s not limited to Java.
