Well done taking Seb on nice holidays. It reminds me of when my parents used to take me abroad in the 80s and 90s. I learned and observed a lot, culture and a little Spanish too. Went to Florida in 1989 and I was amazed. I felt a lot safer with my parents on holiday than at school, and learned a lot more. It taught me to work hard to be able to make choices and eventually leave the UK for better horizons after my aero engineering degree. Some of the other parents at school used to be jealous and gossip because they took me out of school. All I can say is that the way their kids turned out was not good. Just keep Seb away from the bad kids as he gets to that age and keep him motivated with the travel. I also recommend Phuket which I enjoyed a s a kid, riding elephants and touching tigers, far more educational than UK schooling system. I can see Seb working in the aviation industry someday.

Wow, that’s a big deposit! Hotel looks nice though, I’m trying out BA Holidays to Orlando in December, they fly from Gatwick which is a lot closer for me.
Hey it was so lovely to meet you at the pool at sapphire falls, we got a little shock about the deposit I managed to barter down to $25 per day as we were there for 14 night 😂

I do think the $100 per night deposit is a bit much, I've stayed at Loews Hotels loads and always found them good but I'm sure the nightly deposit catches folks out who just haven't budgeted to have a good chunk of money tied up in deposits. Don't lose any sleep over this. Sebs parents have the required permissions .
Seb will learn more on his holiday than if he was at school, every day is a school day, my boys did in 2000 and 2001.
Real life experiences and family time is a million times better than anything he may miss at school 💯
He may miss a few strike days or teacher training days🤦♂️ 😂 I’m sure the travel and life experiences he’ll get will be more valuable.
