Nintendo Land was the sh*t! This and Mario Kart 8 were the two games that I'd play at sleep overs all the time! It's hands down my favorite Wii U game purely for the memories!

Nintendoland was the only game that my friends/family would play where they’d fully understand how to use of the game pad and enjoy playing with it

i started crying watching a gameplay of this. i have core memories of my sister and i playing this after school. i loved watching her play the racing game. we would play the mario chase for hours and watch each other play the other games. i had found the disc around 3 years after i got it. i tried booting it up into the tv, and it wouldn’t work because the disc was all scratched up after a long few years of use. i cleaned it as much as possible, but it still didn’t work. i was so upset to see that i couldn’t play the game that raised my sister and i. im planning on keeping the disc, for memories. i might also start looking on ebay and amazon to see if there’s any fresh discs i can get. i really want to feel the satisfaction of this game once more.

This is the game that made me realise I have no friends.
I used to always hook up a second controller to play as the Pikmin in Pikmin Adventure because I was always too scared to ask my parents if I could invite one of my friends over.
Forgotten? Well damn, I still play this game every day.
Also, love the use of those Scott clips.
The Metroid attraction PvP is so underrated. The combination of invincible dashes, cancelable grapples, and ball rolling allows so much skill expression and stylistic gameplay. The bombs and missiles also explode on hit. This can be used offensively by attacking through walls, covering blind spots, or denying air space. It can be used defensively by shoot incoming bombs with your gun and creating bomb shields with the explosions. I always wish there was an online mode, but the game is also pretty unbalanced depending on the amount of players and the choice of stage. Also coming from splatoon, the sensitivity is too slow for high action flicks. Still, I've spent over 400 hours on Nintendoland, and over half of that was in Metroid. I'm glad it is finally getting the attention it deserves.

My friend brought his (definitely not modded) WiiU over when another friend was sleeping over and we played Nintendo Land like crazy, we managed to beat the entire Metroid portion of the game including the bonus levels.
I still remember going over to my friends house every day after school to play this for hours

Ah yes, Nintendo land. Me and the boys before me and the boys. Battle quest and Pikmin adventure was the shit for us, and we still play it to this day.
I loved this game when I was a kid, I played legend of Zelda with my brother and it was so fun to scream at him that he wasn’t shooting correctly

Nintendo Land was so unexpectedly fantastic. I dunno if a sequel would work well without the Gamepad but I'm sure they'd be able to figure something out. The funny thing is that this is one of only 3 games I played that used the Gamepad well, the other two being Wind Waker HD and Lego City Undercover of all things.
This makes me realize I have a lot of nostalgia to this

Our Gamepad stopped charging, so we cant use it anymore. My brothers and I are still sad that we cant use it anymore- I miss Nintendo Land

I remember playin this with my sister and a cousin, and nowadays we finished the old pikmin levels, we literally cried when we finished the final stage. By the way, if you played pikmin adv with other people and the olimar didn’t throw you into the void, then you don’t deserve this game.
This just proves we need a sequel designed around the switch

Hopefully they put it on the Nintendo switch because this was one of those games that anyone will love once they play it
I need a remastered so bad, I wanted to play this game so bad when the Wii U came out I never bought the Wii U due to the fact that the console was dying and rumors of the switch were starting to take off so I thought hey maybe they would remaster the game. Nintendo please remaster nintendo land I swear this game has so much potential that can be realized on the switch.

This game really did show what the Wii U could’ve been, it’s what first got me into the console and its a shame that every other title never came close to what should’ve been a generic game like how Wii Sports is for the original Wii.

I found my Wii U last week again, cleaned it and set it properly up. I‘ve never had so much fun in a long time. NintendoLand is definitely the Ultimate Party Game! I am so Glad I was able to experience the MiiVerse and everything the Wii U had to offer back then.

We take Wii sports, Wii sports resort, and Nintendo land, put it together, and shove it into the switch! Job done!
