My father was once part of this Republic day parade. Its a 6 months training to soldiers of same height and weight. Their diet is closely monitored so they don’t gain or lose weight. Heavenly salute to you . Miss you dad

This parade is held in New Delhi, the capital of India. Mostly all regiments have participation. The cultural demos you saw was a representation from each Indian state to showcase the traditions, culture of each state. The best demonstration is awarded every year. Lot of things are missing since this is just a short video of the entire ceromoney. The guards on the horses and cammels are part of the security personnel of our President Shrimati Murmu ji. The only horse and camel regiment in the world

I had applied for the profile of Waiter in two South Indian Restaurant in the early January, but Owners and Management of both the Restaurants told me, they don't need any waiter. Now watching Indian Army Hell March from last four days in the morning.
Forget about last 25 years especially last 10 years which were completely strenuous. When you watch Indian Army Hell March, It takes away all pain and sufferings . It's always treat to watch such heart boggling Indian Army Hell March. It simply refreshes your mind, body and soul when you are already depressed. Isn't it worth to say "Proud to be Indian"

Different regiments of the Indian Army in addition to the Navy, and Air Force (total nearly 55) with their bands and tableau of various states/departments participated in the 2023 Republic Day Parade. In addition, a contingent of 144 soldiers from the Egyptian armed forces also took part in this parade.
We love india because it's our motherland and we respect other countries as well. I have a special attachment with Denmark and their people because of some personal reasons which I cannot share on this platform. It takes months to prepare specially from mid December when all have been clearly designated their roles . Uniform: 1st 3 buttons of shirt visible , all same thread , well pressed , no single dot or stain , waist robe , shoulder robe , medals , stars , belt , shoes all shined up , clean shave , barets all shaped in unison , rifles to be registered per person with the numbers matching on butt , body and barrel , scarf , shoulder rope , ids , gloves . Shoes sole have 13 keys on it , steel plates at front and horse shoe at heels . Hell march yes because the march is on heels , no bending of feet , hands flow front and back to the level of shoulders , hand eye co ordination with fellow soldiers to the side and front , ears focused on command qnd raise the foot to the waist levels straight to put it on ground with a thud and roll neck after in unison . This match for 12 kms is hell of a march waking up at 0400 hrs getting ready by 6 , marching from 0800 till 1000 hrs . Only possible because of high passion towards mother India, high morale , sarvasva nichavar. Jai Hind ki Sena

To give you background, the lady in saree who is saluting from the dias along with Prime Minister Modi is Droupadi Murmu, she is the President of India. Also, this year, the special guest for the Republic Day Parade was the President of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi (in the dias alongside President Murmu and PM Modi).
The very first contingent which you saw marching was the Egyptian Army (they were wearing a Khakhee coloured uniform). It's a sign of respect to allow them to march first followed by the Indian contingents.
And the Bike stunts/acrobatics you saw in the end is just the regiments showcasing thier talents, ofcourse it would not be used or be useful in a situation of war, should it come.

@@BigAReact usually prime minister will be given 3 layers of security i.e 1st layer central police force for maintaining crowd rush and clear traffic for pm's convoy &2nd layer is dangerous NSG COMMANDOS for Z+ security and 3rd layer which is impossible to break and reach near the pm i.e SPG Commandos the personells wearing black formal coat and sunglasses with a black briefcase.
This parade is conducted in New Delhi followed by Beating the Retreat which is another beautifully coordinated event the regiments of the Indian Army are featured from around the country including the Air Force and the Indian Navy.
