The Astrovan did what it was meant for. We got to know you and Lars, we heard your music, you’ve traveled and met new people, we watched your channel grow. Whatever you decide to do we’re here for it.
I began my nomadic life at age 61 after the death of my husband and it took me three rigs to figure it out but each time that I was in between vehicles and in a brick and mortar my heart was always on the road and that’s where I find my joy, so you take your time figure it out because you’ve got a taste of the outdoors and you’ve got a taste of freedom what it feels like. know that you’re adored and you are prayed for and you’ll figure this out. You already know where your center is and when the earth is spinning in perfect rhythm.

This is how I feel, after discovering "van life" and other ways to live on the road, I did a 2 wk car life journey and it was hard but I loved it! The freedom I had for those 2 wks has stuck w/me, this was in Jan 2023. I realized I definitely needed a van for more space...and as fate would have it, although I thought it would be impossible to get one, I got one! And it's a tall one too (with a dip rectangle in the back, so I can have a self-made toilet! lol, hated those middle of the night trips to the restroom!) and now I have GOT to get in better physical condition because it hurts me too much right now, I have a lot of physical problems due to weight gain (altho some back pain is from car accidents). Now I'm waiting on disability approval, which I think I'm actually going to get on the first go around (hopefully) and my brakes need fixed...so while I wait I'm just continuing to learn, although it's frustrating being stuck! Nice seeing someone else who has been through it.
I feel like most of us watch bc of your beautiful, eclectic personality, soul & spirit. ( And Lars of course) You just so happened to live in a van. We will still watch no matter what. Wishing you & Lars the best & hoping to see more of you guys very soon! ✨😌🙏🏾🩵🩷

Hi Mateo, me and my cat Freddie just came back about a month ago from Florida picking up my new 2023 Ford Transit Connect. It was converted for me because of my disability, I couldn’t do it myself. Freddie hid while I was in route until we got to Texas, then he came out for the rest of the ride to California. Good luck 👍🏾 with your new adventure.

I started watching your videos about two months ago. For some reason, they calmed me and piqued my interest in van life. I feel that I will be prepared for a long trip while staying in my vehicle because of your videos.
