Lute seems so easy when you play it! And it Is an incredibly difficult instrument (I play baroque lute) : you are the best luthenist I ever heard! Admiration!

Dear Ms Mascardi, I just discovered this video a month ago. I was so charmed by the setting and the sound of your instrument that I checked your discography. Luckily, you put out a record on small Belgian (Walloon) label. I just called the only classical music record shop I know in my beloved Bruxelles and they had just one copy of it! I got it the next day and have been listening to it regularly (at least once a week). It is a pure delight. your music helps me work all day and that incredibly pure, soft, sweet sound of your "luth baroque" soothes me and helps me both relax and concentrate. The workday foes much faster! Grazie mile, merci beaucoup, thank you very much.
My favorite all time classical Bach piece. Having attempted to play this piece for over 20 years, I still can't on a 6 string, let alone 26 strings, utterly amazing! A spiritual experience just watching/listening to this, bravo, well done!

I've been listening to your rendition as also from several other musicians on various intruments, violin, upright bass, harpsichord, classical guitar, flute, clarinet, xylophone, recorder, piano... they all sound good but I must admit the lute gives me the best listening experience. it is a fabulous instrument.

Meus ouvidos são críticos para audição de um único instrumento de cordas ocorre algo parecido com fadiga após um certo tempo de audição.., e incrivelmente escutando Evangelina é diferente! os meus ouvidos encontram calma precisão suavidade e leveza e consigo escutar por horas.

Where can I buy this recording in a lossless compression format like .ogg? I want to listen to it while I work and drive. This performance really sends me to Bach heaven. It would make a very worthy companion to some of my treasured Glenn Gould recordings. It truly is special.
To tune a lute is hard enough and to place you fingers correctly needs dedication to learn correctly...to play at that speed and hit the top strings is a major accomplishment...iv tried🤣failed miserably but what a beautiful sound this 300yr old musical instrument voices
