I've found a hacksaw to be best to cut that last bit of the sleeve. You stick the bare blade in and assemble the saw, then you have very fine control to avoid hacking up the arm.
They have been fantastic. I ended up crashing my blue car at the track, so when i swapped everything over to my wagon I actually ended up getting their extanded lcas but transferred the rest of the bushings over. No cons whatsoever, i drove to and from the track 2hrs each way every drift day this year, probably did a total of 5 or 6 full weekends of drifting. Lots of street miles as well. Cannot recommend products enough. These bushings in particular are a great price point for the improvement it makes on the front end of the car.
basically, i would unbolt the rack from the subframe, push out the inner metal sleeve (i use a big adjustable pliars), get a thinner pliars to grab and pry out the rubber. you could probably use a big adjustable pliars to press the new one in. that's how i plan to attack it when i get around to doing mine
@@alexzier will try that. Currently stranded bc steering rack bushings are so worn (I'm assuming) the steering wheel won't line up the wheels properly. There's so much play it's scary lol. Procrastinated changing this and my stock struts @150k which have been shot for last 20k miles 😬. That's what I get lol. Got any good reccs for a reliable strut set that's sort of middle of the road features wise? Thanks!
In my experience they are perfect for a daily, not sure on the hardness but for me they we're plenty soft for street driving and a massive improvement on the track
“ you should probably find a different hobby “ then proceeds to take off bushing with saw 🤣 lmaoooo

Haha awesome vid! Great work!
Thanks man! As always thanks for putting out awesome products for these cars!
How have they held up so far? Would you recommend them? Pros/cons?

Any particular reason you went this route vs the "adjustable caster" arms that come with new bushings?
Price and simplicity.
Informative.👌
So how would you press in the new bushings for the steering rack if you decide to leave it on the car? Helpful video btw!
