It looks like we misidentified this fish. Bulls have white tips on their fins, halos and their belly colors up at spawn, not their body.
This is actually a really big Sockeye.

I’ve fished Sockeye deep in the interior of British Columbia. They are indeed amazing fish. To travel so far. It never ceases to amaze me.
