I heard this when it was released on the AB album when I was 9 & fell in love with the whole album and concept . My sister, who has impeccable musical taste got me hooked onto U2 "Where the Streets Have No Name" by making me pay attention to Larry's drumming in the video. While she does not think AB is some of their best work (only vertain songs are masterpieces), I love everything about AB - all the darkness and discouragement of the world presented in an almost ironic form. Magnificent!

I had this concert on tape, with all the best bits damaged through fast forwarding and rewinding. For me, this song is a real reflection of my life, and watching this amazing performance again brings tears to my eyes. If there was any U2 live performance for me, this would have to be up there, not just on the 'U2' level, but on a level that truely reflects my life experiences and one im proud to show that reflects the person i am. An amazing tune - and a timeless classic.

I respect him so much and is one of my all time favourites. NO-ONE can do what he does better. 100% heart ...love the guy!

The edge can create more musical feeling and tension in his guitar playing than just about any other guitar player, he is often criticised by some because he does not play in the traditional rock method of blues scale petatonics, however his style of playing is incredibly unique and brilliant, to me his genius lies in his ability to play within the band, all the really good guitar players do this
