What are the signs of a bad strut?
A rougher ride.
Bottoming out (your vehicle’s body or suspension hitting the ground) when going up a parking garage ramp or backing out of a driveway.
Longer stopping distance.
Swaying after a turn or lane change or in cross winds.
Noticeable bounciness (more than one or two bounces) after going over dips or bumps.
Nose-diving when you apply the brakes.

Mechanics generally don't watch car-repair videos...
Those that just watched this, are worrying about their jobs.
Thanks, and God Bless.
Guy just saved me a grand. Thanks bro.
Thank you for the video with clear details that helped me save $400.
I FINALLY got around to completing this repair. I could not have done it without your most EXCELLENT video.
Thank you so much for this video. You were the only one I found that mentioned that if the strut assembly holes didn't line up with the hub assembly, then the CV axle might have become disconnected. I did like you showed, and it popped back in place and the holes lined up. I fought with this for over 2 hours wondering what was going on and maybe I got the wrong part. Everyone else I watched showed the holes lining up with no issues. Again, many thanks!
My 2015 Taurus needs front struts and after watching your video I think I can do it myself ,thanks for the video it’ll be a big help .
Thanks for taking the time to create this video! It was helpful!
Great Video Man, thank you!
Awesome video! Just replaced the struts on my Explorer and found this video incredibly helpful. I love that you listed the torque and size for each bolt. I was able to make sure I had all the tools I needed ahead of time. Everything went so smoothly. I was even able to get the plastic wire clips off without breaking them. I carefully closed part of the clip with a screw driver from the access hole behind the clip and they popped off easily. I used Monroe Quick-Struts part #numbers 272620/272621 and they work great. Thank you so much!
Glad the video helped you out, good job man!
i need to replace my 99k now. but how Monroe is performance. i hear bad news for that brand lik TRQ as well all other KYB and Blisten came in Struts only andy advice

Hmmmmm, I'd see if you can find your 10mm sockets and I'm SURE your 21mm will be hanging out there with them. LOL. Seriously this is a great video!
Perfect
Very Good video , just wished you would have noted which way the arrow goes on top of the strut mount. Not finding fault but I'm pretty sure that's an important point.
Did the struts on my 1995 honda odyssey ex. Got kyb strut assembly
That is a good brand.
Can someone confirm if they are the se part number on left and right ?
Do you have a list of the tools that are needed?
If your Explorer is from the same years as covered in this video and it is making a rubbing sound while turning the wheel when parked you need to either replace these or add lubricant at the top after you remove the 4 bolts and lower it down.
Great video but you should get the tires on the ground before tightening those last four nuts at the top.

Why?
How about rear struts. Other videos I've found weren't very well made
From a few videos I found, it's simply gaining access to the top nut from under the third row cupholders, and then removing the sway bar link to gain access to the bottom bolt. Really seems to only be two bolts holding it in.
mine made it 169k miles lmao
