I'm Kaela, a Homeschool Graduate turned Homeschool Momma. My husband & I have 3 girls.
We are a Latino family, living our best life in a little 1930s fixer-upper in Texas.
Although we are a family of faith, we typically stick to secular resources in our homeschool.
I love homeschooling, pretty books, dance breaks, and turning my humble abode into a home.

I was on the fence about this planner but your thorough video and explanation of the possibilities with it encouraged me to get it. I appreciate the detailed video on how you use it and the materials you use. I’ve been homeschooling 12 years now and have 5 kids. Now that I think about it, I might need 2 planners 😂

I also love this planner. This year I ordered her OG planner (yellow floral cover) for the reason of having the months just before the weeks ❤
I also got the yellow one! I really like it so far but just started using it and am having trouble writing near the crease, so I'm debating getting the spine cut. 🤔 Did you leave it together or get it cut?
@@HeatherAnne10 I left it and didn’t cut it. So far I have been able to fold it back enough to really make a crease in the spine when I need to to help with writing but it’s a like difficult in some places

Hey girlie. I just happened to notice you wrote circuit assembly and some others things leading me to conclude you’re a JW. I’m also a JW. I usually don’t read what ppl write in their planners especially when there’s a lot written but I happened to catch it and I’m glad I did. lol. I even commented recently on your latest video. Have you tried the Frixion erasable pens and highlighters? They are amazing! They also work really well on the School Nest planner.
I have! In fact, those are the only pens I used for a couple of years. Unfortunately, they don't do very well in heat. High temps cause the writing to fade or even disappear. I live in South Texas and it's very humid and hot here most of the year. I got tired of my planner writing looking very faded or barely legible. I usually leave my planner on my desk, near a window, so it gets warm.
@OdetoAbode Oh, interesting... I live in Austin. I've used them for about a year or so and haven't noticed this yet. I'll have to watch out for it, though.

The writing also goes away when wet! I love the pens if I am writing something that can be temporary but nothing that needs to be permanent because of what you mentioned!

I have the same opinion about happy planner discs! It makes it so I can't write in certain areas of the page and I find the discs annoying! One year I only lasted a few weeks with the happy planner and had to abandon it for a new one!
