I love to collect pamphlets and brochures when I’m out and about as some have amazing coloured pictures that I can use. I was interested to hear that you visited Porlock as my late father was born very near there! Thank you Helen for an interesting and helpful video x
I’m so pleased you enjoyed the video and collecting pamphlets too Heather. There are often great pictures and fonts to use. I really enjoyed visiting Porlock, so many lovely buildings full of character. It’s somewhere I hope to return to 🥰❤️
I really enjoyed this one Helen. A question - if I have used a page from a magazine which is often much thinner than other papers. What is the best way to strengthen them or is it best not to use very thin papers?
I use thin magazine pages in mine too, but not too many of them. You can put washi in the centre to strengthen where you bind them. You could then glue some pieces of writing/scrap paper on top or add gesso if you want to do some artwork ❤️
I find many junk journal flip throughs too much - but I like yours because you actually journal in it !
I’m so pleased you enjoyed it. Thank you very much ❤️
Very helpful video, Helen. Sometimes I seem to get "stuck" and this type of video is perfect to help me get going again. Thanks so much! ❤

Hi Helen, Can you let me know the size of this journal & how many pages you started with, please?
It’s A5 size and I think I used about 16 sheets of paper inside ❤️
How do you do that lovely gold out shown about 1:14 in?
I used some Inka-Gold for that. Such a lovely product ✨
