Williams legend Damon Hill sits down with young superstar George Russell, to talk racing, how the Williams team have bounced back from a difficult past year, the possibility of becoming a teammate of Lewis Hamilton in the future and what it will feel like racing at the British GP having had so many memorable moments at Silverstone as an upcoming driver.

George is so underrated he is such a fast driver, even other drivers acknowledge this, leclerc, norris lewis its just that williams car
He’s not underrated everybody thinks he’s good
Makes no sense since everyone knows he’s good
No one underestimates George. Mercedes are keeping him for a reason. At Williams he's proven he can lead a team too, so very good experience for him.
He won F2 in his 1st season and with a newly constructed team with very little experience. Mercedes are probably seeing a little of LH in George.
The future of F1 is bright with young talents like Russell, Verstappen, Norris and Leclerc at the wheel. Hopefully the new regulations will improve the parity between the cars and lead to more exciting races.

I'm really sorry if i'm being annoying, you forgot Sainz, he's also still in his early 20's, a very young driver with great skills and a lot of experience, and i agree the future of f1 will be more exciting with them

What a great lad he is, well young man I should say now at 21/22. Very bright future for him. A lot of the progress Williams have mad have been a lot to do with George. He gets just that little bit more out of that car then many would expect, and that data is crucial. Another .5 of a second on qualy and 2/3 tenth a lap in race trim and he will be pushing for the odd point or two. Lets hope Williams can find that and give it to him, he deserves it. Even if he finishes 10th in 1 race in the next few, it will be be a wonderful boost for them all.

There is something about George and the way he carries himself and speaks so well reminds me of Damon. Someone you can really like and get behind. Proper English gent.

Damon is usually one of my favourites on sky. Shame he was fed all these questions by a colleague which are nicked from the F1 podcast.
For me, I’d say George is one of the top 4 drivers on the grid with the likes of Hamilton, Verstappen, and Leclerc (not in any particular order).

I personally feel highly optimistic for the future of f1 knowing that there is a plethora of rookie talent just waiting to put in the car that will suit them most
Seeing George in the end, I realized Sky F1 can be put into context like this: the one laying on the bed, is getting the "signal" from the air above. While in reality Vodcast is playing on the tablet and using earphones.

Unfortunately Latifi’s sponsorship money is the only thing really keeping them in the grid. Give Latifi a chance, maybe he hasn’t yet got enough confidence in the car. Would be understandable the amount of times he’s spun...

Bottas deserves it, even George does but considering the fact that George is younger (doesn’t mean anything) and bottas has more experience, merc should sign Russell instead of Lewis for 2021

You have to wonder if Russell had been put in a top team straight away would he be fighting for a championship by now. Like Marc Marquez came to motogp and dominated after dominating lower categories. Russell gets everything out of the Williams it seems

Ffs mercedes kick bottas out and take Russel he deserve it so much more and would do so much better then bottas. But im afraid as long Lewis is the boss real talent never will go to mercedes
stop overrating george, he's yet to even score a point in f1. Bottas is the perfect fit for mercedes and is doing a better job for that team than most drivers could.
