What an interesting experiment! Plants really do love those copper antennas. I put one in my hibiscus plant and it started budding out like crazy. My half dead rose bush is now producing leaves from the naked canes. Not only good for vegetables.

How fun this was to watch…we did both Danny’s electro culture and also Hills Mill electro culture on our tomatoes…so my husband said to me “you know what you are going to do when we pick our tomatoes, right?….you are going to be the taste tester!” We planted both Celebrity and some called Delicious. Thanks for making gardening fun for us! ❤️

Mornin’ and TY from Southern Ohio.
I don’t know how my tomatoes are gonna turn out.
    6 have homemade electro-culture.
We finally got rain this week. They all have grown over the top of the cage.
Amazing how much faster they grow with rain water than tap water.
    We shall see!

As a plant pathologist, I will put in my 2 cents worth. Depending on the soil pH, the available copper as a nutrient is greater the more acidic the soil. So you may be comparing apples to oranges if grown in different soils with different pH's. I think the differences are more attributed to the copper available in the soil as a nutrient. Therefore its possible that a copper coil vs a straight copper wire antenna makes little difference if the same soil is used. As most of us know, copper is an excellent fungicide and will protect against soil borne fungal pathogens - Pythium, Phytophthora and Rhizoctonia. Maybe the fungicide value of copper is actually playing a part along with available copper as a nutrient ? So if my opinion is true, you would get the same results with a handful of copper pennies as you would a copper coil if the soil and pH are the same. I do know that if you put a handful of pure copper pennies in a bird bath, it will keep the algae away. By pure copper pennies, I am referring to those minted before 1990. The later ones are copper clad zinc.

I did Van Doorne's magnetic antenna early this season. 2 with copper wires, 1 with galvanized steel. The galvanized steel had such a bigger effect than the copper wires that I switched the copper for the galvanized steel. All theory has said copper would be better but based on my experience, galvanized steel is a much better material to work with when using magnetic antennas.

Thanks Wanda, Danny, and Chris. I'm looking forward to tasting my cherry tomatoes grown with electroculture. It was interesting that the compost tomato had a thicker skin but the same flavor profile. I'm guessing that was because of genetics since the parent tomato was a hybrid. I'll be eating my first yellow squash grown with electroculture today. Much Love ❤

Great experiment!! Thanks for sharing. These storms this past weekend have wiped out our gardens. Winds and hail broke our tomatoes, and then everything flooded, it took days for us to be able to get out to the garden then the horn worms had devoured what was left. It’s so disheartening but I don’t want to give up yet. We’re in Laurel, zone 8, hoping I have enough time to try and start over with all my plants. Great video and beautiful tomatoes

I made my antennas out of 3/32 copper welding rods. Cost was $13. for 14 3' rods so about 92cents each. I think its helpng a lot, although I mulched my toms and peppers this year, and I flood the center. I am going to buy some more rods. I have Centennial and Bradley toms. Ok! Now, I'm super excited for my tomatoes that I have around my little electro-culture coil. The only copper wire I was able to get in my little area w/o going to the city was a pretty thick gauge grounding copper for the house. However, the seeds I direct sowed germinated rather slowly but once they sprouted they are going like gangbusters. The direct sown seeds w/o a copper coil came up quicker but are much smaller even though they are technically older. All were sown at the same time. Iv'e been following along with ya all and it's been exciting.
