Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

Spent a whole wipe on a hardcore server exploring the map and placing down signposts towards large monuments using all the roleplayer signposts and banners, eventually got funded by an 8 man group to explore the full map and then make a digital map for them that i then painted onto an XXL picture frame. Literally my best experience in rust so far

I don't think not having a map makes it better though. If they could go back to how the maps were in alpha where you had to make a map and it would only be uncovered as you ran around, you could draw on it, and if you died someone else could take it and if you had your base circled they would know where you lived. I think that would fit perfectly.

I love that literally 30 seconds after finding out Blaze bought them 1 hour from the roof campers, Spoon wanted to just throw it away, and door camp them, and I thought Dinkbot was the dumb one.

I like how "hardcore mode" is literally just how it was in earlier versions. The only real difference is the five bag limit.
Bring back red wolves and bears.
Team UI sucks anyway. Not knowing if someone was an ally or not was one of the few ways solos and smaller groups couls help stealth around larger groups or clans.

I think you need more adds on a single video, every 3minutes isn't often enough. I now remember why I stopped watching spoons videos, neither my tv or my shitty tablet can get add blocker, so yeah, the every 3min add cycle is 2 much for me.
