She was Armenian. Nezami Ganjavi wrote the love story of Persian King Khosrow Parviz and Armenian princess Shirin in Persian (Farsi) poems. The main story is about them. Farhad appears in the middle of story.

What is "real love"? It's obsession that is always felt stronger by one party. If it's the woman, she is a psycho, if it is the man, than it is creepy obsession (usually ends in an restraining order). The fact we all see love as some story book "they lived happily ever after" fiction, is a large reason of why we are seeing the lowest birthrates in the entire history of the human species. Somebody should tell women that for 99% of them, No Prince is coming.
