Oh, I guess they did add a different wire for blinker and firmware on new controller, but $100 well worth as a backup controller.
this might have me cancel my ghostcat order and get a motor goat. torque is what really sold me as well as suspension on the ghostcat. but as someone using it for commuting. i think the motor goat is more of what im looking for. mainly using it on roads and in traffic. the turn signals on both sides will be god sent and then ability to get up to 40-50 will help with safety.
Yes, I saw your other post. Goat bikes definitely better to keep up with traffic and comes with all futures as motorcycle. Low bean, high bean light. Turn signal, to lock rear wheel and ignition. Ghostcat is better for off road or just fun rides.. I like them both but for riding on street mostly goat would be better choice

That’s why you get the bike with pedals. It will save your ass. I’ve had the bike for months now and not a single person has questioned me. E bikes are literally everywhere now and the police don’t care unless you’re causing trouble. The paperwork is also pretty extensive for them to do.

Out here in Okla, they shoot 1st and write tickets later. Seems like their week off with pay after shootings is the wrong kind of message? But, I intentionally avoid ebikes that look like motorcycles in order to maintain a low profile. F'ing spandex crowd calls in on us with bogus reports as it is...

Nice....I am watching...i got the upgrade kit just to have a spare controller and blinkers....but Bryson told me need to use the new wires to have the blinkers.....and i did now want to rewire...but your video may make me do it....thank u

@@erides ..yes....I agree. They are bright. And I have a helmet with blinkers and I stick my arm out......those lights are small and hard to see. Not worth the effort.

This thing is a beast the only thing it's missing is dual motors. Why isn't more e-bikes dual motors?
I mean if basically all e-scooters are dual motors why can't e-bikes have that too.
Unnecessary weight on the front. Also, wouldn't be safe to have fork with so large and powerful motor. It takes more skills to rode dual motors in general. I think Goat Power Bike got a lot of power provably more than most dual motors on market
It was Spark Cycleworks that originally would sell front motor products. Ceased selling them with a page devoted to why this type was no longer offered. Demonstrated with photos of broken front forks. That was two years ago. With the resurgence in demand the RST Guide forks have proven their worth among others. Also new technology on some have additional fasteners that provide reinforcement to account for the torque being applied.
@MotoXYZ450FCompEd there is no need for front motor unless riding in sand or mud .. the front motor should not be powerful and probably under 750w

It got about 4 mph faster and more torque to go up hill faster, also, blinkers, and display with more futures. We'll worth $100

Without pedals, yes but with functional pedals it’s an ebike. The top speed doesn’t matter, as long as you aren’t riding 50 mph+ on highways, cops won’t care. Know the difference between grey area and illegal

I believe as long as you don't go over the speed limit which is about 28mph, you should be fine. Use the high power option on private land or designated off-road places.
