    but i cant figure it out that how can ammeters and voltmetters use only one lead of ct since the other lead is grounded

    that was what i,ve been struggling tounderstand in past week,i,ve always tought that the primary viltage is or pine voltage but thisgave me a prespective that the voltage of primary is equal to voltage drop accros the length of wire that is gone through ct

      secondary current will not have any closed path though earthing
