I'm pretty sure bounce doesn't add attack speed. Just dragon breath. Bounce is better for more close range targets, waterfall helps you reach attackers.
From a Gold Badge Gyarados, It's trash bro.....I accidentally picked it....got damage but lost the match.....This move should be like Ho-Oh Fire spin....it should provide shield and only should gets canceled if opponents break it
Maybe aqua tail should do something to your auto attacks like stun, more damage, more healing. Which is like draganite exactly except with a different pokemon. Maybe
I think that Aqua Tail would be better if the mechanics of the move were similar to those of Cramorant's Dive: if Gyarados stored up to three or four uses of the move and generated one wave per use, one wouldn't have to wait five seconds to use Aqua Tail if he were stunned whilst generating waves. Also, one would be able to reposition Gyarados, if needed. The boosted wave could still be made available if three or four successively-generated waves hit an opponent.
I love aqua tail personally it makes gyarados a ranged hyrbid and has very strong secure too with the second part. You can use three aqua tail slashes (only use up to three or else water fall expires) between water fall’s dashes to get the second stage before using the last dash or two to get closer to enemies and use it. I feel like people just don’t know how to use it, it’s amazing used from the backline in team fights. I think its way more fun than dragon breath too
But also this is not to say I wouldn’t love to see some sort of rework to it.. just something relating to being stunned out of it. I hope it stays relatively the same if it does get reworked. For now its just kinda a high skill ceiling move. It by no means is useless and has lots of outplay potential
I thought you could aqua tail as you water fall, imagine by disappointment Like maybe it should be like Azumarill's Aqua tail, you're fully actionable as you attack but your attacks themselves change
I think aqua tail is quite powerful if you get the hang of it. Gyrados just change to a semi range attacker. I only want the final aqua tail to stay longer so it can be combo easier with waterfall. But i think volt tackle pikachu just ruin every gameplay.
Hinderance resistance for Aqua Tail and more for Waterfall would be great. Dragon Breath damage needs to be less though. Being the powerful barraging monstrosity that it is though, it needs to not evolve so easily.
Make aqua tail a work like a basic attack. That you press and it give you like three boosted attacks with AoE and increased damage but less attacks speed. That would make the ability work with the other moves too and make it more practical.
Most simple way to rework aqua tail is make it three swipes with a little more Damage and make the last boosted one longer. The last one is so hard to use because it lasts so less
Im the annoying machamp submission stan. Here we go again. Aqua tail i find is best built with aeos cookie, cursed incense, and weakness policy. Weakness policy is flex. Aeos cookie gives you enough tank to survive being a little out of position, and aquatail waterfall is actually really gross if you combo it right. Hide behind goal or the defender while hes engaged and then just full send with aqua tail. or dash in with waterfall amd the little knock up actually lets you get enough aqua tail swipes out to get the big aoe. happy feeding
Gyarados is straight up the worst designed mon in the game (doesn't mean it ain’t strong) in terms of it just looks so awkward with the melee auto attacks, and aqua tail.
I feel that dragonite unite needs a rework, it worked well for score comps back in remoat stadium but he take dmg even while flying and its too much telegraphed
Definitely NOT of the worst moves in the game. Seems like a clickbait title if anything. If you had a healer on you, you would’ve slapped the enemy team so much harder. You were just diving in 1v3 or 1v4 a lot of the time.
That’s true, but I still wouldn’t call it a failed move. More like it might need a slight tweak, but even then idk if that’s the case. You were still slapping the enemy team’s cheeks.
And it's worse than literally every other move that requires positioning: - You need to land 3 hits out of 5 to get your big reward damage, but it's like super easy to get out of range on top of needing to aim each hit (including your big reward hit); compare this to Duraludon Flash Cannon which not only stuns on first hit, requires less for the reward, AND literally aims for you. - Getting stunned out of Aqua Tail puts it on full cooldown, leaving you with nothing to show for it. Other "sustained DPS but stunnable" moves like Inteleon Liquidation and Ho-oh Flamethrower have built-in cooldown resets to offset their downside, and Duraludon has its Heavy Metal passive. Even Buzzwole got a massive Leech Life cooldown buff to compensate for how easily stopped it is, and let's not even get into how Glaceon's Icicle Spear is just unstoppable for free for some reason while ALREADY having its anti-stun passive. Gyara Aqua Tail has sooooo many problems; it's like a super shitty version of Cramorant Unite but you can be stunned and it's easily dodged.
@@breloommaster12 Idk, kind of skill issue I guess. I had some really good games with it. I feel it's more or less balanced when you factor in the damage output. The other moves that require positioning but are "good" often have something else going on. Like for Duralodon, it's an attacker hence very frail and Waterfall has better mobility than dragon tail...
@@dawnspiplup6611 that's kind of just Waterfall being a really nice move in general; Aqua Tail is so bad for team fights that it feels like nothing but an objective-ripping tool than anything else (and even in this regard it is outdone by Dragonbreath). One good fix for Aqua Tail is to just make the move faster throughout all its intervals because in its current state, it is *agonizingly slow* . Tyranitar's Stone Edge was also one of the most underwhelming moves in the game for similar reasons, but with the buff it became so much easier to actually HIT people with the move and made it finally stand alongside (and is now probably better than) Dark Pulse. A faster Aqua Tail can fix a lot of problems, like reaching the big reward hit quicker, hitting enemies before they can move away, or getting in some good damage before getting inevitably stunned out of the move, etc.

Duraladon also needs a rework. I never see it, and it definitely should evolve into Archalodon and get its signature move, Electro Shot!!!
It should be like Syther and Scizor if you add Archalodon into the equation
They only do stuff for money no money = no archaludon
Timi can rework Duraldon ultimate to how that cannon old man is in Hok... Aiming the shots
dragon pulse needs a complete revamp i think

I feel like Aqua Tail and Buzzhole's Leech Life should have a small shield with hindrance resistance similar to how Mimikyu's unite move works

Buzzwole, not Hole

You can't aqua tail during it but you can store the big slam auto at the end and use that during waterfall. Most people don't know
Why would you be able to use it in Waterfall? You literally have to hold it down for it to work.

Give it the Waterfall treatment. Make the casting time of the first part quicker.

tbh if aqua fail was just the second stage charge up sweep, I think it could be a fine move
Cris, I love your videos, they are fun and funny Your videos helped me improve my gameplay with Pokemon a lot.

Its a really weird move but it somehow works most probably bcoz of the high damage from tail.
