This season is truly something special - the first part was incredibly romantic and poetic, and the strong chemistry between Benedict and Sophie clearly continues in the second part as well. Cinderella vibes.
I was impressed with the performances in Part 1 but even just the first 40 seconds of this trailer I find myself blown away by the performances from Luke and Yerin. The LAYERS of emotion in their voices is a level of acting skill we rarely see in media these days, just LISTEN. The yearning, pleading, desperation, and love in his voice as he says “Sophie” it sounds like he’s about to cry. And the meaning of the first name basis, like what he’s saying is “All I care about is you, Sophie, we are just 2 human beings with this beautiful thread between us”.
And the depth of “I have found it” again- layers of yearning, longing, heartbreak, that love-sick feeling like he’s about to cry, like he can’t bear that she’s angry with him. I don’t even think at that moment he knows that she’s the lady in silver, I think he doesn’t even care anymore he’s so in love with her. Like he would love her in any lifetime, at any meeting, in any circumstance. And Yerin right on his level with the “You HURT me.” The PAIN in her voice, the raw emotion from being cut deep like that, the frustration, like she’s saying “You’re just not GETTING it” ALSO like she’s on the verge of tears.
“When do you stop to think about me?” The layers in her voice- anger, hurt, even a bit of sass and self-assuredness like when she basically put him in his place and kicked him out of his own house and he said yes ma’am and left LOL. I can’t even imagine the level of skill it takes to pull off nuance like this, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. I think we’re in for something truly special when we get the rest of this story, I can’t wait

All I wanted ever since Benedict season was announced was Anthony advising Benedict scene and we finally got one. These two are my favourite Bridgerton siblings duo
Idk man, Anthony's very duty-oriented, the family is so important to him...I know he loves his brother and he understands the pull of passion and true love...but I can't see him being accepting of his brother marrying a maid. Like, yes, take her as your mistress but you can't bring her into the family. I don't think he even means it in an unkind way, just...its not possible. Violet would struggle with it, too.

This is so cool. Benedict has been going against society this entire time, but this time, it requires a massive sacrifice and selflessness he's never had to demonstrate before.
Ironically Benedict in the best position in society. He is a nobleman, rich with good reputation of his family and despite his rake behaviors, women of the ton chase him. It's really hard to left your comfort zone.

I love what they've done with benedict this season, he imagines himself this free spirit and rebel against the system, but the universe dropped him the kindred spirit, once in a lifetime love he demanded and suddenly he sees what he must truly sacrifice of his high society life to gain it. Cool character arc, Luke is playing it very well. (yerin ha is also amazing).
The S4 leads’ acting was absolutely insane - in the best way possible.

Yes!! Both leads are outstanding! I loved S1 & S2 (now dethroned fave) and we'll not speak of S3. But in all 3 there was 1 lead that was a much stronger actor than the other. I am *living* for the raw emotion these two are giving us. I can be immersed in it and not be distracted by wooden acting

They are doing all these bridgerton's events in different cities while fans talk about the show online, which both attract new followers of the series and gives time for people to watch all the seasons and the first part. By the time the 2nd part is out, they have doubled the audience. Subscription money is just coin change for something as big as Netflix...

This has been my favorite season so far. I've enjoyed Benedict and Sophie so much that this is the first time I've read the book to find out what happens because I just can't wait, but now I'm even more eager.
It's easy to guess the ending even without reading the book.....but I'm here for all the drama..

How the heck are they going to stuff all this resolution into four episodes? It seems as impossible as Jacob Tierney packing everything in TLG into six episodes for season 2 (he's pretty much confirmed there won't be more than six episodes).

We need to see Benedict smarten up with regards to his oblivious treatment of Sophie, we need to see Violet have more tea with Marcus, we need to see Francesca reach her pinnacle, we need to see Lady Penwood get her just desserts, and we need to see a happy ending for Sophie and Benedict (and Alfie)! That's a lot of plot to cram into four episodes!

But I would be furious if they put too many different plots in part 2. Episode 2 was already filled with nothing to me. They cannot waste part 2, there's literally no time for other people. PRIORITIES, NETFLIX. PRIORITIES. Let's not make the same mistake as season 3
