  • Here's a video of an ASC T-128 siren doing a full alert test for Nine Mile Point Nuclear power plant. This is siren 25 out of 40 T-128s in the system and it replaced a Thunderbolt 1003 back in 2014. I met up with Cooldomino, CNYSirenboy, SirensofNY and CNYsirens which was fun! I recorded this one back in 2020 and went back to record it again since Cooldomino wanted to check out the grounded GCS siren behind the fire house which still remains there! Anyway, enjoy the video, and feel free to comment, like, and subscribe for more!

    how you guys scanning? Didn't they go digital or something

    • @WNYSirenGuy
      @WNYSirenGuy  4 месяца назад +1

      They use encrypted FSK and we were able to get the tones on our scanners.

      @@WNYSirenGuyLol same for my town and some other towns controlled by the same dispatch center in my area. Their encryption for the FSK is a bit different, as there is a tone sent out every 48 seconds which is some sort of encryption code, and in addition to that, they’re on a secure frequency which only my RadioShack 20-164 scanner can pick up and it’s custom FSK. Not sure if you heard it in my recent videos

      @@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL All I know is they upgraded to encryption about 2 years ago. So did Ginna.

      @@WNYSirenGuy Yeah I heard about that! IMO ASC encryption is a load of crap, and Milwaukee really proves it. That’s exactly why Fulton for example (they’re an ASC dealer and they also make custom radios and use a custom encoding software that encodes the FSK heard in two of my most recent videos) orders empty ASC RTU radio cabinets and puts their own radios into them. IMO they need Fulton FSK radios, as those are super secure especially when used on a secure frequency in the 200, 300, or 800Mhz range
