Not to me, my mom waited for me to make that decision for myself. My cousin's mom's did too so we all got pierced at 9-10 together. Made it a shared ceremony and experience.
I'm not a parent but I know babies can get their ears pierced at 3 months but I don't think this one is even 3 months old yet. She looks too little. While at 3 months old their inmune system is stronger, I don't think piercing their ears this young as the baby looks here is safe.

I asked the doctor when it was ok. He said after first vaccination. Their skin is said to be thinner and less nerves developed since pain should be tolerable with tylenol. Also they don’t remember the pain. Most times it scares them more than hurt.
There needs to be a policy: no ear piercings for infants under 6 months old. I know they won’t remember but it’s clearly painful. Her immune system is so new. What if the piercing becomes infected?

No piercings at all for anyone below the age of consent (or age of consent with parents agreement). It's body modification. When children become old enough they can decide.
@@sandrabenedict8135it's piercing gun. They don't sterilise them. Not only that but they're dangerous and no actual piercer would ever use it therefore I assume they went to shopping centre. Using piercing gun could give you serious scarring, keloids or ear infection.

I'm starting to see more and more people speak out against this. I strongly believe that the child should be the one to decide if they want this or not. My daughter was 13 before she decided she wanted it done. Parents doing this at such a young age are only doing it for their satisfaction.
