- Who knew you could make denim jeans look fuzzy? Well, I am here to show you it IS possible...and the best thing is, you can make these fuzzy mittens with any of your scrap fabrics, which makes this project the best for recycling those jeans you cut off for shorts this past summer (?). I am very excited about sharing with you this #sewsustainablexmas gift, it is one that can be useful for anyone on your gift giving list [or you can make it for yourself]. I have tested out this pattern over 8 times and I can honestly say, it is an easy pattern to make although it takes some patience to make the fuzzy look on top....BUT SO worth it! #upcycleideas #scrapbuster

I don’t know if you know but your videos are of an entirely different class from other sewing videos on RUclips. It’s like having lessons with a highly professional teacher. Your view count is not reflective of the quality of your content but that’s often the case… people tend to go for catchy and easy, while you’re b giving a serious tutorial. You don’t waste time either, and you go step by step mentioning all the little subtleties one needs to know. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for the thoughtful message, it has warmed my heart. I go through phases of loving (and hating) the platform... but I would say, that I continue to come back for followers like you. So thank you for the love and support, you made my day.😊
You are amazing! You’re a really professional teacher. Thank you.
Wow, thank you Melisa.
Hilariously good tutorial.
Omg! How am I jist seeing this video now?? I wanna make these mittens they look gorgeous... and this is a great scrap buster. Yay!!!
That's amazing! If you make these mittens, tag @ltrltrend on instagram -- I would love to see your make.
Thanks! You’re a gem! I love them. I may try making these one day.
AMAZING...thanks for your kind support! I could not find a pattern online that didn't have a seam on the palm of the hand (aesthetically I wanted something cleaner), so I made the pattern and I am so happy I can share it with all of you! Enjoy
In-jean-ious! 😉 I like the fuzzy effect. I have to say that those mittens are cute but your hoodie is gorgeous!
I didn’t have time over the holidays to try new techniques, but your videos are inspiring me to go for it now that I have more time. Thanks for the tutorials!
Thanks Renee! Wonderful to hear you are gonna try this... it is always good to get feedback on how others get on with the pattern I made. Let me know if you end up using it - if you are on instagram tag @ltrltrend!! As always, thank you for the support.
Hi! I found your videos the other day and was captivated by your enthusiasm, humor, the editing in the videos, and your fun and unique style in the outfits you wear. You'd be so much fun to hang out with! I enjoy the tips you have and creative ideas I've not seen elsewhere. This particular video gave me the idea to do the fuzzy jean effect on the back patch pockets, or maybe just one, on a pair of jeans I will make so I can have a little bit of uniqueness as well. I do have a question about denim. Does it matter which weight of denim is used or will the effect pretty much be the same regardless of weight? I hope to see some new videos from you soon. Happy sewing!
Absolutely superb!
Thank you so much!!!
