As an update for the bayonetta stuff, she was offered 3-4k per session for 5 sessions (15-20k). Which is higher than usual pay. She declined, asking for 6 figures plus extras which was then declined by the Platinum. After hale was cast. Platinum offered 4k for a cameo which she again declined. Pay has been a known problem for VAs for a while now, but how she handled it, even attacking hale for replacing her, was unprofessional, and possibly burned her voice acting career. She thought only of herself and tried to tear down everyone else that worked hard on the project. When more information becomes available and we hear more from both sides, then we can see the whole picture

I've been watching the progress of re3 nemesis scenario and its so good to see people still showing Love for these old Re's, I hope one day for capcom make a re classic trilogy with the same Love as the fans

It's weird, but this kind of makes the backgrounds look less realistic. They look 'better' - as in more crisp, but that also makes them look more 'video gamey'; it's easier to see all the vertices, everything has precisely 90 degree edges which are softened in low resolution. It's still a great achievement and a good way to play the games, but I'm not sure if I don't prefer the look of the originals aesthetically.
well done to bawk for getting this working, ive spent 5 or 6 hours now trying to get the hd backgrounds textures working but simply cant seem to manage it, ive followed every step multiple times but still i have pixelated backgrounds, i hope someone just puts a working version of this ready to go as a torrent online somewhere

Hey Bawk. Long time lurker here, I've had an idea and I'd love to see what other Resi hardcore fans think. If Capcom did a resi 1 remake for current consoles I'd love it to be 3rd person like the current remakes, then when you complete it you unlock 1st person and then you complete that you get classic fixed camera. Maybe each of the 3 game modes offering slightly different game routes which allow them to play to the strengths of each POV. I know this is easier said than done but imagine how much replay value there is in that. ......discuss

The one thing i'd add to this ai remaster is some film grain or postprocessing to the backgrounds. The amount of dnr due to the upscaling makes everything look textureless, like it was shot on a Galaxy S3

Im currently re-creating the whole Raccoon City from the PS1,PS2 and Gamecube versions in Minecraft. Unfortunately, the earlier games weren't very clear and some of the textures and colours varied between ps1 and gamecube. I was both happy and sad when I found this HD version Bawk uploaded. Now I can add way more detail than I could before but Ive also realised the limits to what I can do. Still, when its complete(some time in the distant future lol) Bawk, your free to give it a go if youre interested :)
Could someone explain why if this takes place after RE3 are there no blockades present at the entrance to the rpd that we can see in re 3 when Jill first encounters nemesis?
Bawk, I'm not sure if you've played it before, but I highly suggest Cryostasis. It's an older game, like, 2009, but it's honestly really, really good. Atmospheric thriller/horror.

The old CRT tv's did a lot to make the old school games look less pixelated.
It always make me chuckle watching the intro. Leon, on his first day on the job, immediately starts blasting citizens.
