Man. That show. That hit me harder than just about any show I've ever watched. Hugh Laurie is an amazing actor, and Robert Sean Leonard is right behind him.

@@japsardauker8051Problem with using different languages rather than the lingua franca we share, translation is completely up to the receiver and google translate for me started with "God of houses" but it also translated the bit about delicate acting skills of American actor.
As a person who studied secondary language acquisition and communication, don't do this because the end goal of communication is for the message to pass through without barriers. You learn language to accommodate people using that language, not to make a headache by speaking Japanese to an Englishman

@@dianastankeviciute2766 The song is played at the end of an episode of House called Wilson’s Heart. It’s a two part episode. The episode preceding it is called House’s Head. I think they are both from the end of the fourth season. I recently discovered the series on Roku although it’s an old show. These two episodes are real tear jerkers.

My dog of 12 years passed away this morning.
I feel weird. Me and my mother were there by his side. I've seen this moment coming weeks back. I've been preparing with prematurely grieving, yet it still hit me like a truck.
I'm trying to think about the good things. How he had a happy life, how he lived to see such an advanced age for a dog of his size. I feel a stirring mixture of emotions - joy, sorrow, anger, but the most potent one is a hollow emptiness inside my chest. It feels like something had vanished today.
Rest in peace, Fík. I'll miss how you always leapt onto me when I sat down in our armchair in the living room.

i had a bad relapse before i watched the final episode of szn 4. That relapse plus Amber's death, plus me searching Kunter's name and finding out he offs himself, and 13 having Huntington's and the somberness of this tune have hit me hard.

I'm going mad trying to find this song stuck in my head, triggered by the vocal melody at the start of each stanza, with the harmonies. In my head it sounds exactly like the Byrds, all ghostly and mournful but also has hints of Peaceful Easy Feeling by the Eagles, but not at all as cheery. I've searched the RUclipss for days, to the detriment of my job and personal relationships. I swear it's not even that obscure but I can't find it. Did I just invent it?

@@roberthardy6490 I listened to Peaceful, Easy Feeling- you mentioned that the song you're thinking of sounds a lot like the Byrds' music, and reminds you of that Eagles song but less cheery. What you said about being stuck on the opening melodies of the stanzas made me think of Mr. Tambourine Man when I listened, which the Byrds did a recording of? I don't know if this helps at all, but my curiosity is piqued.
@@mellow_mallow actually not a bad call, it's definitely in that direction but it's not the one. I'm convinced it's the Byrds but if it was I should have discovered it by now. There's still the possibility I've invented the whole thing.

The only other thing it reminded me of was Lying Eyes, also by the Eagles- but kind of like you said, they're such a well-known group, so it might not be that. Still, if it's real, I hope you can find it. You might have tried this already, but google has a function that identifies songs by sound, and it seems to be able to identify them from a person's humming (I would assume, since it suggests so.) Anyway, long response aside, good luck, and have a nice day.
