As an atheist myself, I always love watching sermons like this one. It teaches me new things about my atheism, things I never knew I believed or claimed. Very educational…
Dear Pastor Peter you are bang on here. I don’t believe anyone is an atheist. They are agnostic at best. We all have God in our hearts but people find Him and his laws inconvenient so are in rebellion against Him.
1. I'm an atheist. 2. I do not "have" God in my heart. I'm an intelligent member of a social species and act accordingly. 3. I know of no laws from any god, so whether they are convenient or inconvenient is unknown to me. Maybe you're referring to the legendary story of Moses, which is ahistorical? 4. I don't know what it means to "rebel" against God. I'm simply living my life the best way I know how - by trying to consciously make life better for people around me and trying to improve myself by striving to live virtuously. I do that because I value human flourishing and because I wish to minimise harm wherever and whenever possible in the world.
Praise the Lord! It is so true. Everybody knows that if you start with nothing you and with nothing. It is scientifically impossible for nothing or random nothing to create everything. You need intelligence and what pastor mentioned around the specific instructions in the dna of all life follows it can only come from a supremely intelligent creator. Love that picture about him bringing things about by him mighty outstretched arm and having a plan for it into maturity. Oh that many would see and understand and respond to the truth of the gospel!
Why is God exempt from a cause ahhhh yes Because you say so!!! sorry but one-day your God will be nothing but a memory just as so many God's before some people are just not intelligent to enough to cope without God personally I think the God Bible is an assho"e but that's not why I Don't believe its because the evidence for God doesn't convince me he exists
You've made so many blind assertions there! For starters, what makes you think that that is the only alternative to a God. it's a classic false dichotomy that theists makes. Also, how do you know its scientifically impossible? Do we have an example of 'nothing' to test this on? How can you be so sure that it's a scientific impossibility, when we've actually experienced 'nothing'? Besides how did this intelligent creator create the universe exactly? Did he just magically 'poof' it into existence? How is that any more plausible than the universe just popping up out of nothing on its own accord? Maybe consider your own position first before criticizing others.
Contrary to popular scientific belief, everything could not have been created out of nothing. The evidence is all around you. Are you an unbeliever because of your ignorance of scripture or is your ignorance of scripture because of your unbelief?
5:53 There are hundreds of studies regarding origin of life thst have been conducted and evidence provided. The pastor's claim that there is no evidence is spoken out of ignorance or is a lie.
6:07 A pastor calling others sheep as an insult when addressing their congregation is hilarious to me. Remind me, again, isn't Jesus called the good shepherd and the believers referred to as the flock? Just saying. Edit after finishing the video: So you *do* know that Jesus is called the good shepherd. Oh that irony is delicious.
3:08 Indeed. Scientists do know better than you do, and that know that abiogenesis is a worthwhile, expanding and important field of scientific study. But you want to pretend that they cannot do what they are doing.
If you’re doing good things because of god you’re not a good person to begin with. If you do good things because you’re a good person, you dont the bible- ricky gervais
Praise the lord!✨

The Spirit of God is very strong and woven into this man! God keep His blessings upon you.
@@RobertRulison-pe8rq I doubt they are, but I do appreciate the kind sentiment!
1:20 The amount of straw needed to build this version of atheism could feed very horse at the Ketucky derby.

I wish people like this would do some basic learning. But then again, it's not about truth, is it?

Answers are hard , so I’ll believe a magic man made everything from nothing.
6:24 Indeed. Because pointing out specific examples makes it too easy to be debunked. Gotta keep it vague to keep it safe.
The fool has said in his heart “there is no God”
@@rickz3543 The fool who can't address the points brought up only shares an irrelevant quote from an irrelevant collection of books.
Repent!! Please don’t die in your sins, it will be an eternal mistake on your behalf. Pleasse i beg you
@rickz3543 There is no reason to waste time nor resources on a situation that lacks sufficient evidence to justify.

Ah, the willful ignorance of the Xtian!
Its sad that people still believe in this religious nonsense.
Nine minutes on atheism from someone who knows nothing about it.
The "context" of life?
What a stupid question.
