I live in the US and have been thoroughly enjoying this show. Thank you so much for sharing this! I have laughed and cried through them all and now I'm starting to watch them all over again! God bless those troops and their wives for their strength and sacrifice.
I am humbled by these women. And so proud of them. Garreth, thank you for remembering that singing helps time pass, heals hearts and brings people together. Bravo and keep singing!
It's best of show and real life. It's best story for children, They will see them and love song by this way. I'm appreciate with song and performance. You make many people return and listen
Keep up the good work, you men have a lot of respect from the public. She has been at this for ages don't pay her any attention. The PUBLIC are always behind our forces.
I have never watched any of Gareth's Choir programmes, until this. I thought the bloke was a bit of a 'wolly', - boy how wrong was I! He is clearly a thoughtful, caring, clever and upstanding fellow with bundles of talent and charisma. Well done on bringing together these women and for such a good cause too. The single is fantastic and very moving. My fingers are crossed for this to be a very deserving Christmas no. 1.
To FanoftheChoir, just wanted to say Many Thanks to you for the series you posted here really enjoyed watching them over and over, have got the DVD now but still keeping these on my list as I can pick and choose which episode to watch,I live in Cornwall and Chivvy is just up the road from me so one day I hope to meet the Choir and tell them in person how much I love to hear them sing,to you all I can say is a BIG Thankyou for this and as we say down yer PROPER JOB ME ANDSOME.:-)))))
What can I say, except a huge thank you for uploading, I missed the series and wanted to see it because, I had heard so much about it. Absolutely brilliant, I cried most of the way through it. Well done to our military wives, you did us proud, Will definitely be buying Wherever you are, Good luck for Christmas No1 you really deserve it.
I help the guys on the ground, those who are on the lines. Those I have a problem with are the policymakers. Maybe you have the time and money to argue with each individual family about the pros and cons of the war etc but I realise that to stop such things, you need to approach the leaders and policy makers. If I wish to change an organisation, I would argue with the leader of that organisation rather than 100,000 individual workers
I support the NHS but disagree with how some cases take precidence over another. Does that make me hate the NHS? You only see what you wish to see and I can plainly see that whatever I say will only go in one ear and out the other. Rant how you wish but I will continue to watch inspirational women in difficult situations and comment on inappropriate comments as I see fit. Look forward to chatting again :)
megmo 1571 just be thankfull they do there jobs ,if not we would be speaking german , ,PLUS todays soldiers return after 6 months ,my uncle in the 2 world war was away 2 and a half years , when the ship came back he did .todays ships have 2 sets of crew ,one out one in ,
I have not accused you in any way, shape or form of hating soldiers. I am arguing the point of how the order comes from the top of government. An army is not an autonamous organisation, it is subject to laws and regulations from the state. If I wished to stop an organisation, I would aim for those at the top of the pyramid, not the grunts who do the leg work.
Where in any comment have I said it justifies the killing? I have not said anywhere at any time that I support the damn war, infact I agree with you about the legality of it, however I will support the armed forces BECAUSE they are my fellow countrymen. Get into the faces of the politicians if you feel that strongly. Soldiers have been trained to follow orders, get the guys at the top to stop then the rest will follow. You are trying to stop a symptom not the cause.
Opinion is not fact. These civilians had NO CHOICE under a dictatorship, they had NO CHOICE in the day to day of their lives, now they HAVE A CHOICE to have a say in the running of their country. Anyway, why are even having this conversation? These videos are about the wives of soldiers coming together and supporting each other, not the soldiers themselves. Talk to the politicians and top brass if you feel that strongly
I don't understand how any man can leave their families for 6 months (especially those with babies who may not even recognise them when they come back) to fight wars that are unjust and illegal... Is it wrong that I do not respect their actions?
Wow, really? Are you resorting to insults? Please read the serial killer comments again. I disagree with murder so lock up the killer, the knife is a tool.
You just don't get it do you? The war in Iraq was a politically motivated action, it is about oil and politics. This I do not agree with. The war itself is politically motivated and the politicians are hesitant to pull out the forces. To this end I support the soldiers who have little say in where they are sent. I suggest nothing as there are no concrete numbers to prove either way. Only hear say and best guess, which is no basis for an arguement.
@TheScothern I respect the World War soldiers because they a) had no choice and b) were genuinely fighting for a good cause. The modern wars aren't just and I question why someone would choose to join in helping our country steal oil from others.
Believe it or not, but the army is answerable to the government, the government is answerable to NATO and the UN. Killers are locked up according to the interpretation of the law, both domestically and internationally. As for the insults, I have repeated the same quote several times, but time and again you refuse to address anything but your crusade. Would it make you feel better if I say the army went rogue, went to Iraq and decided to cause mass genocide on a jolly?
By your very comments you invalidate your own arguement! You have repeatedly attacked these women whose partners are fighting away on foreign soil, calling their getting together and supporting each other propaganda. You do not support the wars and that is fair enough, but you have repeatedly and blatantly commented on anyone's supporting these women, across all 12 parts, spamming repeatedly. Get off and do something about it if you feel that strongly instead of being a keyboard warrior.
yeah go live out your anarcy in the woods with the other animals ;) There's a reason that we don't live in an Anarchy, and form a state. It's not like Anarchy is something new..
Army brat myself…
And wife of 101st Airborne
Vietnam War veteran.
So beautiful!
So many tears of joy🙏🏽

Much respect to all the servicemen and women working abroad, come home safe and know the country is proud.
