- After a month's worth of relaxation, it's time to go back to reviewing games for you guys. This time, I'm reviewing video games based on the cute purple dinosaur himself, Barney. And you're not going to believe this. I even got Barney to be in the review!
Originally the star of a video series entitled "Barney and the Backyard Gang", Barney became a huge success when his long running TV show "Barney and Friends" premiered on PBS in 1992 and later became a television icon for preschoolers as well as parents.
Are these games as good as the show it was based on? You'll find out.

That Barney costume looks amazing! And I absolutely love how respectful you were to Barney himself throughout the video, even if the games weren't that great. It made my heart pretty happy. :)

That's a very good review, but there were movies that Barney even stared in. I remember a movie where he and a young girl had to protect a rainbow egg till it hatched for her.
That was the 1998 theatrical film, Barney's Great Adventure, where Barney is paired with a young skeptic named Cody and his sister and best friend as they chase after an extraterrestrial dreammaker egg. Not the best depiction of Barney, IMO, even the OG screenwriters aren't crazy about the final product.
