Ok, this is my opinion, first to God be the glory! I watched Bring It from the first episode to the last and never missed a show. When you all came to Dallas I made my daughter buy tickets, I wanted to see Kayla up close and personal. I was born in raised in Greenville, MS and moved away right after graduation, so from the start, I was going to support my home state. I feel in love with Kayla from day one, I love to dance and I saw a lot of me in you Kayla, I would pray for you as though you were my own daughter and all the other girls as well. Now, later on in the show, some years into it, I thought to thinking, these girls are awesome, why aren't they getting more recognition, why aren't other organizations promoting them? Thank you all for bringing this to light and I told my daughter back then, they are overlooking them because they are black and look where they are from, this is my opinion. But even so, sometimes God allows us to go through, just to promote you, you all were humble through it all, and yes, it was a learning experience but I am so proud of you Kayla, stay the course and follow your dreams, it ain't over for you yet, greatness is still to come, and I pray the God of peace which surpasses all our understanding, keep your heart and mind through His So Jesus Christ! (Philippines 4:7).

@@sumatrathompson1874 you all are missing the point the show centered around their competitions. I an very familiar with the competitions because my oldest daughter was participating in group that was sending kids every three months. Now with that said, none of the girls primary form of income comes from dancing.
My point was agreeing with Kayla mom Regarding not knowing and Kayla herself when she said age didn't take the social media seriously and if age had known now what she's knew then they would be in a different place. I believe it was space for those girls to have done so much more as far as marketing themselves from clothing apparel, special appearances, make up.lines, modeling, dance tutorials, acting, hosting etc, but the full spectrum of what they could have tapped into was either out of reach or just not a focus for the majority of them.

The reason why the executives approached you in an aggressive way telling you what not to do is because they wanted to keep you in a box. They knew that having the contract would ensure that you all wouldn’t leave the show on such short notice and that you were committed to the show. They also knew that Kayla was very talented and that any opportunities that came her way could have given her more opportunities for her to be bigger than she was on the show and I think that scared them. I also feel like the producers knew that they could do the bare minimum with you all as far as payments because nobody challenged them.

Its big of you to acknowledge what it was, what you have learned and doing about it now. I have a lot to say about the show. I think you Kayla can create a dance team of your own based on mentorship, building opportunities, leadership, being a lady and more appropriate dancing for young people. Most of the dancing I seen on the show and this genre is exploiting our little girls and their developing bodies. College is the time and era for that. And most college dance teams dont do all Ive seen on the show. As an athlete you wanna save your knees and dance cleaner. Based on your experience I know YOU can do it so much better. You are The Captain that took the show to stardom and the blueprint that was used to execute the style and attitude. KAYLA! YOU ARE A LEGEND. I appreciate this video for many different reasons. I have my own regrets about not using my 20s more for dance acro and tumbling but instead helped raised a child that wasnt my own. Its all good. She is a blessings and i learned many lessons. I hope this message finds you in peace and love and motivation to stand in the gap for self and others.

I don't think that's completely fair because Dianna spent money on those kids when they didn't have things that they needed.
You don't know 100% of the story or her personal sacrifice. She's spent more time with those kids than she did her own son Cobe
At some point during the drama n the pain she probably did move on and come here to Atlanta. She has a studio way up in Stone mountain area. But she doesn't have to stay any particular place she has a right to move on with her life.
I don't blame her I'd get the hell out of country Jackson Mississippi too! Everybody knows that Atlanta is the Black entertainment area & she has a right to live out of her dreams. She got a big old fat mansion here in Atlanta and they don't even build houses like that in Jackson Mississippi.

That's messed up! I'm pissed that the network did y'all wrong. My whole insides said something wasn't right behind the scenes. They didn't do those little white girls that way. Dance Moms got all the coins.

They did get paid more but Christy from dance moms said they were making Pennies the first check they got and that was like in the 3rd or 4th season then they got paid more cause it skyrocketed

This is honestly a down to earth because this is in a calm-ish tone & Kayla is owning her mistakes like a proper adult which is great to see. Unlike Rittney, (Christiana’s aunt) Rittney legit cursed down Diana and glad to see them explain in a calm manner.
