This scene is so wonderfully shot and written. One blast and they feel joy. Two blasts they whip out their swords and get hardened. The third blast is pure terror
It's actually not, though. The horn blasts scene is from one of the books, with the sequence ending when they realize the third blast means The Others, and that part is good, you're right. The problem is that while the Army of the Dead's reveal itself is cool, we're stuck with trying to explain why the Wights, whose sole defining character trait is hating the living, are willing to break around Sam like a flood without killing or even acknowledging him. Now accompany us on this fantastic adventure as we attempt to find a way to defeat them! See how there are allusions to the Lord of Light being important, because we learned fire can defeat them. Behold the nifty discovery of a black obsidian dagger that can kill them! Also, winter is coming. Behold dragons! We all know the dragons have fire, and we know that dragons will be useful against the White Walkers, which is great, because winter is coming. Now join us as we work hard to link all of this together, string everything along carefully - sacrifices countless hours on scenes depicting the horror of the white walkers. The ability of the Night King to resurrect an entire army of the dead at once! Behold the horrors of shrieking scary undead children nailed to walls. It's not nearly as scary as winter coming, because it is. It's an excellent adventure and now we're in the final season, and winter is finally here. Now everything fans have waited eight seasons for is about to take place, and here it is! An epic battle of insane proportions filmed in the newly discovered black hole so there's no light for fans to see anything going on. But wait, there's more! Now there's incredible scenes showing a massive list of ''star'' characters in peril, and then not in peril, and then in peril, but only one of them even dies. But wait, now the actual main big bad baddy boss himself has arrived, because winter is finally here, and the Night King is going to be a fucking bada- oh, he's dead. All right, white walkers are defeated. Now let me tell you about the Queen Cersei! Give me a fucking break. Planet SA Tours is a fucking retard.
Just realized that season 1 ended with the screeching of Dany's dragon babies. And season 2 ended with the screeching of the White Walkers. Ice and Fire baby.

@@nixX258 how so? and by that you mean season 7? so far it's the only season witch out any book backing (season 5 and 6 ware based on a still unfinished book that George RR Martin generously provided to creators fact really touched by haters like you.) But even still George RR Martin gave creators main points of a story to use (in other word books will more or less follow story in that season.) in that season as well as 8'th (I actually heard that he was heavily involved in the creation of scripts of the final season).
The writing and general calibre of the show was incredibly better back in the earlier seasons to be serious. I still enjoy the show and want to see how it ends but it's just not what it was.

Actually you brought up an interesting point.. We already know what the TOUCH of a regular White Walker can do. Like destroy Sam's sword into a million of pieces. In the same episode of season 8, The White Walkers bodies are so cold DRAGON F***in FIRE CAN'T HURT THEM!! Even as a Nobody Assassin, I'm pretty sure they can still get hurt. So my question is, Why didn't Arya died as soon as the literal king of white walkers touched her exposed throat..?
1) Zombie horde is stupid 2) S1E1 others where nothing like that 3) Every charachter past S3 is stupid 4) Books are better 5) We'll never learn the true ending. Best case scenario -- somebody will have the right to wright for Martin as happened with Berserk.
@@davidcabreonmunoz6258 Exactly, they left a lot of plot holes and things unexplained after the last episode. It's going to be interesting to see how they finish the rest of the season off and how it differentiates from the books GRRM is hopefully going to bring out in the future.
I wanted an all out war between Cersei , dan and the nightking. The night king should have sent half of his army and he went farther into the land growing more and more numbers, taking over more territory. That would have made sense to me.
Yeah what got me hooked into GoT was the White Walkers Stuff, the fantasy stuff and not that bickering, political games stuff. I mean that was good too, but so many times it made no god damn sense. Even in the books it did not make sense. The Crows had a lot of former royals in theire ranks and good soldiers who fought in the wars. Thorne for example could have send a raven to the Lannisters and all the other leaders and warn them that the dead are on the marsh. They shoud have known, that he is loyal to his oath and is not bullshitting them. But nah, need to drag the story and play some political games and only sprinkle in 10 minutes of the Undead into a whole season.
I just really love this scene because it really demonstrates how much these guys thought of whitewalkers as myth because they hear two blasts and they draw their swords ready to fight... then the third blast comes and they can't even remember what it means off the top of their head because no one has had reason to even blow three blasts for 8000 years and then it hits them and they remember protocol Run, Run and don't look back
They know what 3 horns mean, as if anyone could forget. They were just so far from ever expecting it, hence why they jump to conclusions before that 3rd blast comes through.
I heard theories about the White Wall being built by the White Walkers to protect them from the Dragons and their forces! It makes sense since the Wall is made of Ice! They also talking about an Ice Dragon sleeping under the Wall.
I know right. Such high hopes. At s8 ep 2 I was telling myself how the heck are they gonna wrap up this war in 4 episodes........f me....NOOOOOOOOOOOO. I will never get over this show and how badly it ended for another decade or so

The sad thing is, I don't think I'll ever be able to watch a White Walker scene again without picturing Arya super speeding like the Flash past all of them to kill the Night King with a fake-out. =/
Remembering when the white walkers were so terrifying and how I thought they'd take out half the population of Westeros. The Night King stared at Jon in s5ep8 like there was a special interest in him but no Arya was the Azor Ahai figure. Jon didn't even get a sword fight with a white walker general in season 8 nor did anyone else. None of the other kingdom's got affected by the army of the dead either. All this build up for 7 and a half seasons just to get defeated the first night. What a fucking waste!
I was truly hoping for them to lose at Winterfell and the war being pushed all the way to Kings Landing. I just wanted to see a montages of the Night King steamrolling over Westoros
Hate to nitpick, but being fat doesn't suppress the will to live. The fucker just stays there after falling over at 1:37. And doesn't even start running towards the massive defensive formation at The Fist. You know...that massive hilltop your 300 brothers successfully defend. No no Sam...you just find yourself a nice little rock.
For what to happen? A humongous battle where thousands of people died and the entire Dothraki got wiped out and then the deadliest human on the show killed a villain when he was experiencing a moment of arrogance after thinking he had won? People need to stop acting like the Night King got wiped out in "one battle" when there was Hardhome, the fight north of the wall last season, and (off-screen) the massacre at Last Hearth. The Night King killed PLENTY of people before someone was able to off him. Arrogance and overreaching has led to strong armies being defeated by weaker forces countless times throughout human history, but somehow people think the Night King should be invincible EVEN THOUGH the Night King's enemies ALSO HAVE MAGIC.
How humiliating must that be, for your opponent to consider you not even worth the effort of killing? Sam must have sat there and watched that entire zombie horde pass by him. Not to be nit-picky, but as White Walkers haven't been seen in thousands of years, how exactly did that hornblower (without the benefit of binoculars), identify them as such? He deserves an extra helping of mush, at that very least.....
We did not see what was going on overall. Maybe there was another White Walker with his army of dead. They could have started a pincer movement, but this one was once a Frey and so he came late...
That's like "HOLY F*CKING CRAP!!! SHIT'S HITTING THE FAN!!!"... The actual third blast of the horn should be that phrase instead. Things can't get any worse in the far north than that :D
The explanation is bad editing. The Night King wasn't actually looking at Sam, it simply appeared that way. Ultimately it can be seen that he was not in fact in line to see Sam behind the rock, but as I say, the poor editing was inadequate in conveying this truth.
As terrifying as that moment was for Sam.. Could you imagine having to remain sitting there, until every single other whitewalker has slowly passed my.. Never knowing if one will suddenly stop, turn, and kill him..

@@sydnitheromantictaylor112 that would've been awesome. The showrunners should have went up to season 10 or 11 and have the last two seasons fighting off the white walkers. The first 6 seasons can be set in Summer while the last 5 seasons would be set in Winter.. A lot of major and minor characters die leaving Jon Snow and Daenarys fight the night king. Jees what could've been. I understand wanting to do something else after 8 years on working on a show, but the writers could've given it to someone else to start on season 7 onward.
Really sucks what happened to them in S8. Such a waste. The battle should have been the final end - it started with them; it should have ended with them. I never thought after watching this scene and getting goosebumps for the first time that they'd be wasted like this. The introduction of the NK destroyed the WW because the NK was merely created just to kill off the entire army at the right time in order to ensure the safety of the characters that were practically done for. It's hard to care about the rest of the drama after the elimination of this threat. Nothing really beats a threat like this. Ugh. So unsatisfying. So disappointing. Just a complete waste. All those years of build-up, all those "Winter is coming" remarks, only for them to fall at the first major battle they have beyond the wall. They made them seem like such a dangerous threat that nothing else mattered. All that fighting for power would be futile because a much more dangerous threat was coming for everyone that didn't care about the throne. It made you believe they were end-game. Lol, nope. I was going to re-watch this at some point but knowing how the WW storyline ends, there just doesn't seem to be a point when at the end of the day the humans in the story don't learn a thing. They still end up fighting for a throne and "Winter is coming" doesn't really matter because this time it'll be over so fast. The more I think about what could have been, the more angrier I get.
So true. I still cannot believe that the writers thought this is a good ending to the white walkers arc. Such a disappointment after waiting all those years just to get the nk killed in a single episode. I still don't know what was the purpose of Bran becoming the three eyed raven. So many people sacrificed their lives to save him and what did he do. Where is Meera reed? What is the relevance of Bran going into past to watch history? What about the prophecy?
I remember watching this, and being terrified of the White Walkers and their army of wights even though they were not the creepily beautiful figures from the book. But the introduction of the Night King made it a personal conflict between him and Bran and even then, the last battle was so disappointing. Who would have thought Cersei Lannister and her brother Tyrion (with his poor self-serving advice) to be bigger threats than the Army of the Dead and the White Walkers?
Nothing's stopping GRRM from writing the books and showing the world his ending. Hell, D&D signed onto the project with the *expectation* that the books would be finished before they ran out of source material. Truth is, George has spent 8+ years writing (and re-writing) 1600+ pages, and even he doesn't know how to get these characters where they need to be to set up his ending. Yet we're expecting two writers in a totally different medium to deliver a satisfying ending in half the time, with nothing to go on but a checklist of plot points. I'm not thrilled with D&Ds writing in the last couple seasons either, but seems like the bar has always been set way too high, and they were doomed to fail from the start.
@@RMSersen i agree they were doomed to fail no matter what ....but not this way .....this way was stupid ....killing the NK in that manner was both stupid and disrespectful to all the people who invested 8 years of time in this show following the build up and hype for the WW and having 100 questions that will never be answered..... mabye they could be forgiven for writing a meh ending ....yet they can never be forgiven for destroying the entire series and what it stood for
I honestly think it's kinda of offensive to call them D&D. Dungeons and Dragons is not a work of art and etc.. but it is a classic. And you people are sullying it's name, lol
@@srt-fw8nh Because if he did, he wouldn't still introduce half-a-dozen new characters as main players in his third-to-last novel, which was going to be second-to-last, and then spend 8-years without finishing his actual second-to-last, that was supposed to be the last.
What a bloody waste of an 8 year build up of the biggest threat in the entire show, To be one shot killed by a Mary-Sue, Deus ex Machina assassin. Such a disappointment.
@Daragh Kelly Completely agree, loved the suspense of the Dothraki being killed off and the fighting. But it just drops off a cliff from there. Hoping the book does a far better execution.
Dark Knight they could have done so much more with the white walkers and they night king,I thought this episode would have been better than Battle of the Bastards but it sadly wasn’t
@Daragh Kelly I would have taken any fight with any white walker. But they didn't show one decent fight scene with either the night king or the white walkers. He should have been the main villain, he's been built up for 8 years since episode one. I'm as disappointed as you are
Game of thrones, the only serie I know that makes you love the main antagonist, the White Walkers.. Seriously, who don't want to see them kill all the Lannister, etc. ?
No. They look stupid. Like mummified Yeti. I want them to melt. I have had enough of zombies anyhow. they are worse then vampires. Couldn't they come up with a more original and better looking design?
Lollipopfop I was expecting something closer to the books version, which seems more like an alien race more than anything. they're suppose to be beautiful too, like elves. The fact that they're called White Walkers on the show doesn't help with the zombie implication. IHad they followed the books generally calling them The Others, it would imply something very different from zombies.
A lotta people are questioning why Sam survived the encounter. Here are my theories: 1. Dragonglass. We don't know much about the White Walkers, but we do know they hate dragonglass. Maybe he could sense it. 2. Panic. The White Walkers wanted survivors to make it back to the Wall to spread fear about the approaching army of ice zombies. And if you want to leave witnesses, it's smart to leave a witness that can barely fight. 3 (my favorite): The White Walkers aren't evil. A constant theme in Game of Thrones is that people who are supposed to be good turn out to be incompetent/psychopathic while people who are painted as monsters (like the wildlings or Dothraki) turn out to be not quite as bad as people think. Maybe the White Walker saw Sam and decided not to kill a defenseless, cowering boy.
2 is the uncontested correct answer imo. White Walkers want more witness that's why they often leave one alive. This way they can get more people to rally against them, kill them and quickly get more numbers for their hoard.
You can tell this was back when Martin's ideas were king and the White Walkers/Others were more complex, not random monsters, actual beings who could spare lives as well as take them.
When winter chills you to the core, You shall hear no Lions roar. When winter forces you to yield, No Stags shall graze upon the field. When winter creeps in from the shadows, Roses won’t blossom in the meadows. When winter sweeps across the land, There shan’t be any Snakes in sand. When winter tears you limb from limb, Krakens will freeze right where they swim. When winter sets and dims the light, Even the flayed man will fear the night. When winter fights to tongue and liver, No more Trouts shall swim the river. When winter ushers great despair, No Falcons shall fly in the air. When winter comes, when blizzards fall, Dragon Fire won’t warm your halls. Because when winter comes with all it's might, Only wolves shall howl in the night. Winter does come, and when it do’ith All men must die. “Valar Morghulis.”
Gods, not only was the dialogue strong then, but so was the atmosphere. Back when all the epic scenes weren’t 90% CGI dragons, but still focused on tone and actor’s performances.
Nothing except the total destruction of the wall, the entire population of northlings, anyone close to the wall, almost the entire south, dothraki horde, unsullied army, northman.. Yeah nothing indeed LULZ
The importance of The Wall has been built up far to much for it not to come down before this series is over...narrative tropes demand it be so. Plus it will be fucking awesome if it happens.
Huh. It's interesting looking back at the design of some of these white walkers. This one, at least, looks very primal, barely wearing any clothes. Jump to the more recent seasons and you see them actually dressed up.
I absolutely love this scene First blast *Yay they are back* Second blast *Two blasts mean wildlings* Third blast *Awkward Silence* And btw these fucking batman coats man I would never be able to run with that.
The scene itself is freaking awesome, however it also raises some perplexities. First: how the hell did Sam survive? The only explanation I could come up with is that the White Walker thought he was so weak and useless that there was no point in turning him in one of their undead soldiers. Secondo: a massive army of zombie and ice demons is seen marching towards the wall. However, since then onwards, there's no mention of that at all: where did those monster disappeared? They must have gone somewhere!
He survived because they wanted him to survive. Basically like the kid in the 04x03 episode with the kid and the Wildlings. He would spread fear, panic and they would make hasty decisions etc.
First, they probably didn't kill Sam because the White Walker sensed the dragonglass on him, although your theory holds up too. Secondly, they WEREN'T headed for the wall. They were headed to the Night's Watch camp and they slaughtered most of them, you can hear the screams during the opening cinematic for the season 3 intro, Lord Commander Jorah Mormont and a couple dozen survived and met up with Sam. And later, Jon Snow and Mance Rayder found the remains of the camp, the horses were slaughtered and placed on the ground to create a giant symbol.
I personally think the reason they didn't kill Sam is because they might not be bad people. If you ask me the monsters of this show are the humans. Look all the sick stuff humanity does to itself on this show. Heck Sam's own comrades abandon him to die but the 'monster' leaves him alone.
Everyone in King's Landing is only cares about politics and powers. Meanwhile, in accross Narrow Sea, Daenerys Targaryen have big dragons and in the North, beyond the wall, the White Walkers are coming. I can't wait to see Littlefinger reaction if he sees a white walker.
I wish they had represented the Others (starting by calling them that, not White Walkers) as in the books. They wear ice-like armour that is so polished it reflects the trees around them so it looks like forest camoflage, they wield swords that look like glass, their skin is like pale and transparent like a "white shadow", and they speak a distinctive language, they communicate between themselves, show emotions, even mock the humans they encounter in their language. In the books they're basically armoured ice ghosts, clad in magical ice-steel, with distinctive personalities and a culture of their own, and seem to have a complex plan in their hands. In the show they're like just ice zombies dressed with dirty worn out rags, show less personality than a bucket, just stand and do/say nothing 90% of their screen time, and didn't have anything in mind beyond killing everyone. Very disappointing.
It's really disappointing that we never see them actually fight in the show. They shouldn't have skipped that battle between the Nights Watch and the Others army. That made the whole White Walker invasion look like a joke. It feels way more ominous in the book.
Beat me to it! That's the first thing I looked up on RUclips after watching the start of season 3. I was like "wasn't there an army of undead soldiers they needed to fight or something..." probably not in the budget
Yeah, they could have spent the money on one good fight scene with the Crows and a the White Walker on horse and about 30 wights instead of the 3 minutes of thousands just walking. They should have just found the money from someplace.
+EvilBonesMan_666 Fat from it. The show's pretty much catched up to the 5 books yet there's still things in them that haven't been covered by the show plus their are 2 books coming soon from GRRM.

It's wise to heed the words of the Northerners, "winter is coming", after all. Now follow along on this crazy eight season adventure where we'll repeatedly go back and forth around the continent, and even abroad, but we'll always return to this important and vital story line regarding the dangers of the White Walkers. Now that we have located a massive amount of dragon glass, and winter is coming, and the dragons are now on Team Friendly, and the character Jon Targarsnowtark is finally about to complete his character arc because he's required winter to come, and it is coming, we will now show an insane scene of a zombie dragon destroying the aforementioned super wall!

Just for the most spectacular battle in the whole series and the longest battle sequence ever made in cinema history... yeah :T

I’m really hoping that there is more to come in the 3 episode ahead. I’m praying for more twists and turns about the night king and bran
I know I will rewatch the show. The first 4 seasons are some of the best TV ever made.
But I'll stop after season 6.
It's not about the WW's and TNK anyway. The books are called 'ASOIAF". Jon Snow is the song of ice and fire. It has always been about him.
My guy have you seen episode 5 of S8? Your comment only makes even more sense now
I remember watching this, and being terrified of the White Walkers and their army of wights even though they were not the creepily beautiful figures from the book. But the introduction of the Night King made it a personal conflict between him and Bran and even then, the last battle was so disappointing. Who would have thought Cersei Lannister and her brother Tyrion (with his poor self-serving advice) to be bigger threats than the Army of the Dead and the White Walkers?
THIS SCENE IS MORE CREEPY AND SCARY THEN THE ENTIRE EPISODE 3 SEASON 8 :)))
poor martin ... his life's work was ruinned by the stupid untalanted D&D

@Daragh Kelly I would have taken any fight with any white walker. But they didn't show one decent fight scene with either the night king or the white walkers. He should have been the main villain, he's been built up for 8 years since episode one. I'm as disappointed as you are
@Daragh Kelly That would have been amazing. Rest in peace to all those 'Azor Ahai prince that was promised' theories haha.
couldnt agree more
I remember my heart dropped when I heard the third blast. Hearing it again makes me feel the same. So creepy😔
IHad they followed the books generally calling them The Others, it would imply something very different from zombies.
snillocgrom
Yep! In the books they look like the Tolkien Elves, but with white and hard skin, their armor and weapons is made of Enchanted Ice.

About one Year... with 3h/day...
Lollipopfop The original design is actually better. Its more earie and more human-like.
A lotta people are questioning why Sam survived the encounter. Here are my theories:
Sounds about right I think it's why they let Will escape right at the start of the series/books to spread fear of their awakening
I like this theory but after watching hardhome.. Ehh.. They seem kinda evil 😂
.....yeah but they kill children
2 is the uncontested correct answer imo. White Walkers want more witness that's why they often leave one alive. This way they can get more people to rally against them, kill them and quickly get more numbers for their hoard.
Dothraki not as bad as people think? What the heck? They are exactly as evil as everyone thinks.
small detail but you can see the horse decompose over the seasons
I SWEAR that the white walker king rolled his eyes when he saw Sam! 🤣🤣🤣
Knew what an annoying fk he was
and 5 feet little girl killed these....
mmmm 4
With an even smaller knife...🔪💀
You can tell this was back when Martin's ideas were king and the White Walkers/Others were more complex, not random monsters, actual beings who could spare lives as well as take them.
'Tell the others what you saw here'
tell them the north remembers
The white walkers and the dead were so creepy and mysterious. It's so sad how they ruined this show
This scene was brilliant. The sound of the horn sent shivers down my spine
When winter chills you to the core,
You shall hear no Lions roar.
When winter forces you to yield,
No Stags shall graze upon the field.
When winter creeps in from the shadows,
Roses won’t blossom in the meadows.
When winter sweeps across the land,
There shan’t be any Snakes in sand.
When winter tears you limb from limb,
Krakens will freeze right where they swim.
When winter sets and dims the light,
Even the flayed man will fear the night.
When winter fights to tongue and liver,
No more Trouts shall swim the river.
When winter ushers great despair,
No Falcons shall fly in the air.
When winter comes, when blizzards fall,
Dragon Fire won’t warm your halls.
Because when winter comes with all it's might,
Only wolves shall howl in the night.
Winter does come, and when it do’ith
All men must die. “Valar Morghulis.”
Even the wolves are fucking dying now. before winter.
that was lagitness
+Vishal Jagannath Yes, yes... four wolves and the remaining wolves who remember. Haven't you heard about Nymeria's pack ?
Sachiko Shinozaki I have, but I don't know if they'll be shown on the TV series
Merlin Galahad Well said.
At 3:00 the white walker is like "GOT A PROBLEM NIGGA?"
Translation at the end: "You mutha fuckas gonna DIE"!!!!!!!
"Ate all the snacks fatty?!. *screams* Imma snack on them crowws!!!
Just because they are white doesn't mean they are racist, c'mon now.
Years later and your description still kills me 💀💀
Sam: My god, is it Black Friday already?!!!
Considering how long it atuall ends up lasting after all the build up, "The Long Night" really should have been renamed "The Long Weekend"....
The long hour
House White Walker, our words are: At least we don't kill each other for dumb shit.
Gods, not only was the dialogue strong then, but so was the atmosphere. Back when all the epic scenes weren’t 90% CGI dragons, but still focused on tone and actor’s performances.
they ran out of book material after season five
Shame their buildup mounted up to nothing
Ikr disappointing
Read the book u will never be disappointed
Nawaf F I did
Nothing except the total destruction of the wall, the entire population of northlings, anyone close to the wall, almost the entire south, dothraki horde, unsullied army, northman..
Yeah nothing indeed LULZ
@Vasilijan Nikolovski Ugh stop crying about the NK army. They are dead. Live with it already.
The importance of The Wall has been built up far to much for it not to come down before this series is over...narrative tropes demand it be so. Plus it will be fucking awesome if it happens.
Attack on Thrones
Bertolt Hoover westeros received a grim reminder that day...
The Night's King The terror of being ruled by the White Walkers ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
***** now it is our turn to attack! ~ commander Erwin
Mikasa Stark?
Huh. It's interesting looking back at the design of some of these white walkers. This one, at least, looks very primal, barely wearing any clothes. Jump to the more recent seasons and you see them actually dressed up.
They realized people could actually kill them I guess.
They wanted a pay hike from their boss *night king*
Thousands of years in anticipation and one little girl with a knife ended it in one ep.
So sad 😢
Me:
RUclips Recommendations: *"So, you miss White Walkers?"*
I absolutely love this scene
First blast *Yay they are back*
Second blast *Two blasts mean wildlings*
Third blast *Awkward Silence*
And btw these fucking batman coats man I would never be able to run with that.
Who else is here after finding out all these guys only made it halfway through season 8?
The third blow of the horn really gave me goosebumps when I watched this scene for the first time
is 3:26 an eastern egg ? I am 101% this is Darth Vader in the right corner
???
+Kaloyan Vasilov Yeah i see him, also you put an "n" in "Easter egg".
+Renly Baratheon he means "easter egg"
+Dragon Master Dany found some eastern eggs ;-;
+Dipe Pipe "If you only knew the Power of the Darkside......"
I would move to Essos if I saw that, probably Braavos, anyone with me?
Dagoth Ur Or Sothoryos, where there's scorching deserts and humid jungles. I'd like to see the White Walkers touch that place
Dwight Schrute Fuck Asshai. I'd go to Yi Ti.
I'm just going to say 'fuck it' and move in to a comfortable place called the ground
***** Haha what :'D I hope not
***** Oh D: Oh shit
James Sora TheMarmiteJunkie thanks for your answers, it all makes more sense now!
I personally think the reason they didn't kill Sam is because they might not be bad people. If you ask me the monsters of this show are the humans. Look all the sick stuff humanity does to itself on this show. Heck Sam's own comrades abandon him to die but the 'monster' leaves him alone.
HisShadow the white walkers slaughtered many wildlings in the first episode of season 1 and they also killed two rangers
That undead army is fearsome.
Turns out they weren’t
This scene is now robbed of any impact, as we see the white walkers easily defeated barely south of the wall.
But it's cool because super badass assassin ARYA took them out! YES QUEEN SLAY!
@@cakins1986 SJW sarcasm, i see you.
@@cakins1986 Arya Ahai
Freaking Draugr always showing up to ruin everybody's fun. Boy, fetch me my Dawnbreaker and gather up all the Restoration mages you can find!
Pachirisu!!! Cute!
Damn draugers.
*heavy breathing............ Alright I'm here!
Your to late, you missed it. They all died horrible deaths when they ran into a draugr overlord
+margareth michelina pfffff hahahahahahahaha
Littlefinger is dead
Arya would scare him more I'd think
Agreed. Sadly they probably didn't have the budget for it after the Battle of Blackwater.
Beat me to it! That's the first thing I looked up on RUclips after watching the start of season 3. I was like "wasn't there an army of undead soldiers they needed to fight or something..."
probably not in the budget
darkspd31 I know but that zombie bear. Terrified me to death.
From what I hear, the Battle of Castle Black will more than make up for it.
Yeah, they could have spent the money on one good fight scene with the Crows and a the White Walker on horse and about 30 wights instead of the 3 minutes of thousands just walking. They should have just found the money from someplace.
Remember when we thought this was the moment the walkers come through the wall?
Darkness1984 Took them 5 years
This looks like a job for Rick Grimes, Walker exterminator extraordinaire.
Look at the video description, it's kind of embarrassing now that you think about it.
If they don't invade in season 6, I swear to mother. fucking. god......
+Christian charles Isn't season 6 the finale?
+EvilBonesMan_666 Fat from it. The show's pretty much catched up to the 5 books yet there's still things in them that haven't been covered by the show plus their are 2 books coming soon from GRRM.
They said there would be 8-10 seasons
Kairasu Yeah, thank god. GOT is my all time favorite show.
Christian charles Extremely well written, extremely well directed and extremely well acted!
Should be more scared of the 2 blasts for wildlings lads, they did far more than the walkers...
WW, was like “not a threat, not much use in this army neither”
Kept it pushing
I wonder who played this horn, after that only people who saw the white walkers talk about them to the watch, but there's a guy who played this horn, he also knows it, and the people on the wall heard it too, everyone just forgot about it
God I remember thinking Game of Thrones was absolutely bullet proof at this point.....
Then season 7 and 8 came along 😩
ICriptix mkwikd then I’m not wasting my time trying to convince you 🤷🏻♂️
