- Credit to BuffMaister for the video. I didn't do anything really, all I did was add the voice lines. Sometimes the lines come out a bit wonky, couldn’t do anything about that.

@@astro17656I think it’s because this game came out super late into the 3DS life cycle, and I’m guessing ATLUS didn’t wanna pay to have the game dubbed. They were most likely busy with P5R and P5 Strikers at the time.
Yusuke sounds too emotional. He’s not a cardboard cutout, but he usually sounds a bit monotone, only showing real emotion whenever it involves art, food, his financial situation, or his friends and family.

The way Yosuke and Makoto are differentiated by tone is sick

I couldn’t help but chuckle at how Kanji sounds, especially in hindsight. =P
And this tech is still pretty young. Curious to see how well it can do dubbing in the next 5 or 10 years.
This opens the flood gates of so many games that were never localized like Yo Kai Watch 4 and Persona 5 X as of right now

The only thing they’d have to deal with are perfecting the AI Voice Lines.
If persona Q was dubbed but Q2 wasnt...just hope both those games get a re-release on modern consoles with both English dub

If perfected, I feel something like this could make a really cool mod for this game. It would be a neat way to see the game dubbed in an unofficial capacity.
Fascinating AI-voice demo here. I’ll be honest: I’m grateful to hear an example of what Persona Q2 could’ve sounded like fully-dubbed in English, I also feel relieved that the AI used couldn’t replicate the dub cast’s voices perfectly.
For example, because Makoto Yuki (male) and Yosuke Hanamura were both voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, the AI clearly struggles to differentiate between both characters by vocal tone.
All in all, like with most technology, artificial intelligence (AI) is not flawless and that’s probably for the best.

So far no ones voices provided commented on ai voices. Only half the p5 cast really commented against it though

Unless the voice actors (Yuri Lowenthal, Matthew Mercer etc.) get in touch with him personally via private message, email or some other means, there shouldn’t be anything to worry about.
Please stop doing this.
If the voice actors/actresses didn't complain about this, than why should you? It's their business not yours...And it's not a problem to use their voices for small videos with the character they voice, UNLESS they address the issue...
I must admit, having more of Persona Q2 ai voices would be appreciative and probably the only thing we'll get since english cast is a nogo officially in this. (What where they thinking???)
