Volvo V40 cabin airfilter change

Had to change cabin airfilter of Volvo V40. Needed to be done after 15000km on 10000miles. Old one was already filled with dust.

They are a bit like fitting a square peg into a round hole. Installing a new one in is a guaranteed catalyst for coming up with new profanity and expletives, that would see you banned from posting on You Tube for all time. 😉

Another little suggestion is to remove the glove box as well. Takes 5 mins and 8 screws. Watch the wiring, but makes the job a bit less annoying

Got the filter in actually pretty easily, but spent 10 minutes swearing, trying to put the plastic cover back on upside down… 😂

Do you also have hissing noise coming from those grey hoses when AC is on?

Have not noticed any specific hissing noise. Although, I have this noise with VW Passat and in my understanding I should go to check the amount of gas inside the system. At previous springs and summers there has not been any hissing.

Does the arrow point towards the center console or away from the center console?
