How calm and tranquility your videos transmit, and I love the “handycam” style you use. Sometimes, after watching them very carefully, I only put them on several times to have them in the background while I work.
awww thank you so much! you've made my week!!!! to know that you've watched the vlog and then have it on in the background while you work is a dream coming true for me! i'm so happy to hear! thank you for leaving this sweet comment!!!
Sarah, beautiful film as always. I was delighted to see you visit one of my favorite places. I have been to Sequoia and Kings Canyon a number of times, and did a lot of hiking on the trails, including to the top of Moro Rock. I have never been there with snow on the ground, nor with so much water in the rivers. Another unique place there is the Crystal Cave, which has a mile of pretty flat hiking from the parking lot to the cavern. On a hot day, the inside of the cave is pleasantly cool, and the Civilian Conservation Corps put in nice paths and lighting in the cave. Those sequoia trees are so amazing and beautiful. Three Rivers is a very nice town to stay in with the inns and restaurants on the rivers.
Thank you so much Susan! Wow, you got to explore Sequoia much deeper than we did! We tried to go up Crystal Cave but there was way too much snow on the ground to get there safely. So we headed back. April was the shoulder season so it was hit or miss with some of the spots in Sequoia. Yes! Those trees are magical! They made me feel something I can't even describe. Sort of spiritual and emotional on a level I didn't expect at all.
I visited Sequoia, King's Canyon, and Yosemite in February 2017. I'd love to visit that trio again. I saw the places you visited just with more snow, and ravens. I didn't see any ravens in your video so maybe they only show up during the winter. The poor ducks at the end though. Hope they got to safety eventually.
Wow, to see these parks in the winter must be quite an experience! I didn't spot any ravens perhaps because I went in the spring? Didn't make it up to King's Canyon either. I think the roads were to icy or snowy for us to go at the time. I hope the ducks were safe too. We had to leave and so never found out. Thanks for watching the vlog! Appreciate your comment so much.
oh wow! thank you so much! that is a huge compliment for me ... i love wes anderson's films ... he's one of my inspirations for sure! thank you thank you!!! i love the vintage look as well ... perhaps that's why i tend to make most of the vlogs look like they're made years ago ... :) i'm forever nostalgic!
I know right? I was so upset about it too. We saw how he tossed the duck overboard. It was scary for her and he also separated her from her partner too.

The hue of your videos remind me of a Wes Anderson movie. You should work in production and 🎥 cinematography.

That poor duck. Why are people so mean?
