    That was like THE BEST review I have ever seen on a product. Thank you! I have been reviewing the two for the last hour and have now decided on the tree runner.

    Great review-very helpful. To avoid smell locking-in to the wool runners, how often would you estimate they should be washed? If, on average, you wore them 4 out of 7 days in a week.

    What color is the tree runner? It doesn’t seem all white but still pretty light color, it looks great!

    How's cleaning your tree runners? Specifically on the bottom white foamy part?

    Best shoes to work in are the New Balance Walking shoes. Not the waterproof ones though.

    Most comfortable shoes ever.
    I wear without socks no problem.
    After a year, hardly any odor. YAY!
    One small problem was a small tear in the toe box after less than a year of use.
    The other problem I had was after washing, they shrunk almost a full size.
    Anyone else have this problem?
    I washed in cold water and put out in the Sun to dry.
    Maybe drying in the Sun was the problem?

    @urbanandoutdoor How do the tree runners perform as a beach/water shoe? I know that’s not what they’re designed for, but if they’re washable, can they do as a shoe you’d wear to the beach or a water sport type of activity (rivers, rafting, boating, etc.)? Not that they’d be waterproof, but could you easily wash them in a sink after that activity and would they quick dry without retaining a smell? What about same question compared to the Ultraboost clima? Thanks.

      Peter Cook I don’t think I would recommend them for water. When I’ve washed them they get pretty waterlogged, so I think they would be very sloppy if you got them soaked.

    Do you think your feet would feel cold in the winter in the tree ones?

    • @yayayalam
      @yayayalam 5 лет назад +1

      Yes I think so. get the wool one, Extremely nice in winter, although winter in Auckland (NZ) it's not that cold, they keep my feet warm at around 8 degrees.

    Do you find that the two shoes have different profiles? It seems like the tree runner is cut a bit lower than the wool runners, or maybe that's just the angle?

    • @urbanandoutdoor8209
      @urbanandoutdoor8209  6 лет назад +2

      Yes, the Tree runners are lower profile at the ankle it seems. They also have a slimmer fabric/support at the heel and sides. this makes them sleeker and more breathable

    How's the comfort and breathability of Tree Runners compared to Ultra Boost?

    • @urbanandoutdoor8209
      @urbanandoutdoor8209  6 лет назад +4

      Yoon Id say very comparable beathability, although adidas just release the Clima UltraBOOST amzn.to/2KfzYEi which is more breathable. Comfort wise, the allbirds is much firmer and has more arch. UB is softer and had the stretchy upper. I’d have to say Boost is more comfortable especially for shorter wear times, but allbirds are not far off/ may be better if you like a firmer ride.

      Tree Runners are more comfortable AND breathable to me than the ultraboost. The only downside to tree runner is ankle support. Your ankle could roll over easy if your on a hill trying to cut your grass. Lol

    I am Traveling to Europe next week. Will you be able to run on the treadmill comfortably?. I really don’t want to pack a bother pair of shoes.

    • @urbanandoutdoor8209
      @urbanandoutdoor8209  6 лет назад +1

      jattwhiskey604 yes for sure. They’d be great Travel/workout shoes. They’re good for like 5 miles but for more than that I think somthing else would be better. But they pack super flat and are comfy for around town touring. Checkout the UltraBOOST Clima linked in the comments as well

  • @noahjoo7231

    i dont think its that accurate because his tree runners are newer than his wool runners. so if they were both new, they might be the same in comfort
