I've noticed that a lot of the people that have the most emotional reactions to the story are people who have similar stories of their own. Things relating to family, loss, things that this story touches on. And that's why I think this game's story is so effective. It can make people relate to it.
Great to have you back with more GoW, Tofu. It's nice to see someone really appreciate the more low key, character-centric nature of this section, though I'm sorry to hear some of the darker side of things there hit so close to home.
I don't get why people watch her gaming videos. The playthroughs are never finished and the gameplay is bad compared to so many other channels. I gave it a try on many, I would just like to understand, I mean no disrespect. Is it just because she is pretty?

I'd love if she went back to some of the unfinished series too, but you can't just make technical difficulties disappear or force people to love something they're just not that into. If she's not for you, there's a million other Let's Players out there, I suggest you give them a look rather than stick around and whine. And no, I don't watch her just because she's pretty.

What nobody seems to know is that Kratos has already died to Thor. Thor rezzed him with the fake game over screen. So the entire game is everybody running around trying to prevent something that already happened. Nobody in game knows this, of course, but its a neat little trick: everything is the future, until it is the past. It's far from the best, pretty easy as a fight, not lots of things going on and it's pretty repetitive with no extra stages, plus you aren't actually fighting gryla you are just fighting a cauldron. The best fight has to be Heimdall and Odin is pretty close to being the best too.

Welcome to Oregon(soon 😃). Portland isn’t what the mainstream media or those with a personal political agenda make it out to be. It’s a great city. I don’t know where your moving from BUT two small perks of Oregon is there is no sales tax and you don’t have to pump your own gas. Here is a tip for the summertime. EVERYONE goes to the beach in Seaside. And while it is nice it gets very crowded and traffic is nuts. Instead I recommended going just a little farther south to Manzanita. It’s a wonderful little town. I had no idea about it until I met my wife and her family lives near there. It also happens to be the town Life is Strange is based on. There is a scenic stop where the lighthouse in the game is. Also farther south is Tillimook where you can take a tour of the cheese factory and get the best fresh ice cream. Hope your move goes smoothly and again, Welcome to the state.

@@appropriate25 In fact the Norse myths were not written down until at least a few centuries of those people living under christian rule. They were being passed down by word of mouth alone. Every generation learning them with whatever the previous one misremembered about the stories, or what details the added in to spice-up the story.
I don't think Freya changed her mind because Atreus turned into a bear, I think it was more the fact that after he did so, Kratos, without even hesitating, put himself in harms way and tried to save Freya's life, even after she had just tried to kill him moments ago. It's when he says "She was our friend!" that she really starts to re-think her actions. Kratos has so few friends that to be called one carries a lot of weight. In that moment, she finds it so hard to hate someone who clearly cares for her so much.
The last part of your comment is close but the rest isn't. Kratos obviously didn't save her life and he didn't by any means "harm" himself, Atreus, even in bear form, doesn't compare in strength or power to kratos or Freya so nobody was in danger. She changed her mind because after kratos tried to hold Atreus from attacking her, she realized the monster she had become and she realized that she was in the wrong.
trust a two way street. All atreus had to say was, I would like to tell you but I cannot tell you because of a promise i made that i would keep what I saw/heard a secret.
I highly recommend playing the Batman Arkham games. It's one of the best and most comic accurate depictions of Batman as well as having incredible stories to tell true then you can learn more information about Batman and his villains.

Talking about sleeping helping calm emotions is so true. My sister is letting her emotionally abusive ex move back in with her and my niece. They may or may not be back together. I was sooo upset.
