44:50 Graham plays Seedborn Muse. Fun fact about this card: It is part of one of the bigger judging oopses on the Magic Pro Tour (IMO) where neither the players nor the judges noticed the interaction between this card and the death trigger from Yosei, the Morning Star until after the game was over. This happened in the finals of Worlds 2005 between Frank Karsten (NLD) and Mori Katsuhiro (JPN). I'm a bit on the fence about recommending looking up the video coverage of the event. On the one hand there are some interesting and historically important decks like Karsten Gifts, Ghazi-Glare and Enduring Ideal/Form of the Dragon combo. And the latter was piloted by none other than one of Japan's best rogue deckbuilders of the time, Asahara Akira, wearing an outfit reminiscent of Jon Finkel's when he became world champion. On the other hand, it's blurry and low resolution as you would expect from 2005, but more than that it's _glacially_ slow which is hardly a surprise when we have Frank Karsten in the top 8 piloting a deck with Sensei's Divining Top and Gifts Ungiven. The quarterfinals alone took over 3 hours if I recall correctly. What's ridiculous is that Worlds 2005 doesn't even have a reputation as one of the most horribly slow top 8s. For example the following year we would have Gabriel Nassif playing a deck based on gaining life every turn with Martyr of Sands and getting it back with Proclamation of Rebirth. His only win condition was to skip turns with Chronosavant to eventually deck his opponent and maybe speeding it up by casting Compulsive Research on his opponent. They had to start the semifinals while Nassif was still grinding it out against Tiago Chan's UWR Good Stuff deck. Another infamously slow match was the finals of Worlds 2003 where we had a Mirari's Wake mirror match. Game 1 took over an hour which really cemented this match as legendarily slow (though it got less tedious after sideboarding).
Copying from the official Worlds text coverage of the finals: Game 2: [...] Frank untapped, played Kagemaro[, First to Suffer], and used his last mana to blow everything up. Mori cast a Seedborn Muse and used it to untap at the beginning of Karsten's next turn, which was locked down by Yosei. [...] Game 4: And then things got strange. As the players were shuffling up for Game 4, Head Judge Sheldon Menery informed the players that it been realized that a mistake may have occurred in Game 2. During that game, Mori had used his Seedborn Muse's ability on a turn when Frank Karsten had to skip his untap step due to a Yosei effect. However, since Karsten skipped his untap step, Seedborn Muse wouldn't have had a chance to untap Mori's lands, and Mori ended up using some of those untapped lands to cast Congregation at Dawn at the end of Karsten's turn. The match was put on hold and the judging staff reviewed the video of the event to confirm that this is what had happened. On the video, it was clear this had occurred. The ruling was that, because everybody involved had missed it, it had to be allowed to stand. Mori was given a procedural warning because it is his responsibility to know how his cards work, and we were off to Game 4.

My first thought was “Oh poor Ian! U’ve never won a commander game.” But then there was the second game, Ian finally got to do some thing! And Alex and Graham died! Things are looking bright now! But as always Ian is on the short end of the straw. Maybe next time! Congrats Cori!
time code is off, but I believe you mean after Cori played Mandate of Peace, which says "Your opponents can't cast spells this turn" which includes Graham's end step
No, but it is an action you can take any time during the game which cannot be responded to. It thus acts before the stack. This is important when you or an opponent dies with a spell or ability on the stack, as the the one who concedes removes all spells and abilities he or she controls that are on the stack. Can come in handy if, for example, an opponent tries to use the Sydri-Aetherflux Reservoir combo targeting you. Just concede so they won't gain any life and are at single digits.
Second time Cori cast the Wall of stolen identity she should have copied Seedborn Muse, anyways interesting and fun game. The Precons seem to make for a fun and pretty good balanced experience :)
I guessed it was because the last FNPF commander game had Cameron in the spot where Cori was and I was right. Paul must've glanced at it while changing names, saw a C first name and thought it was correct.
If I'm not mistaken once a month is the usual frequency of commander happening on Friday Night Paper Fight, but I don't know if it's always the 2nd or 3rd friday of the month or if it's "random" :)
Eric Heidgerd he’s the commander with the least interaction. Forking 1 flashback spell every turn isn’t nearly as powerful or interesting as playing the top card of your library w/ flash or messing up people’s attacks and targeting certain players.

Manifest then triggers Kadena's second ability, so he should then draw a card. Only thing worse is once you add in a creature flash effect and also play a free morph on every person's turn as well.
@@timothythiessen1378 yeah there's a lot of abilities unused. But as the board state was, maybe he just wanted to balance the game a bit. I guess otherwise she would just end the game
