    I feel cautiously optimistic, I have full faith in Elko and our future, but I'm nervous about next season.

      That's how I feel... im a bit worried about reloading the talent that left to the NFL and how the offense will perform
      Additionally I think our schedule is a bit harder than last year so that's concerning
      But I trust in Elko's direction!

    As an Aggie fan, anything over 9 wins will be a great year. Anything under 8 would be devastating. I trust in Elko but don't have high expectations for this year.

    To win it all, Reed must become a consistent dual threat QB, or at least protect the ball well and let the others get the yards. No QB improvement = no natty

      Fortunately if theres 1 thing our new qb coach is good at, its preventing turnovers. Its also absolutely the only thing he's good at, but hes good at it.

    The mood is great. We have one of the best coaches in football and the resources to be in the discussion every year. Still have some hurdles (e.g., Texas, brutal 2026 schedule), but the recent positive trend is undeniable

    A&M had a great season last year. During the CFP, talking heads kept saying that ND was the only team that could beat Indiana, and A&M beat them at their house - Miami also beat them, and Miami showed the world that they were easily the 2nd best team in college football (and was right up there with Indiana in the championship game). Miami got lucky to get out of Kyle Field with a win in the CFP. All that said ... that was last year's team - but with the way Elko and his staff recruit (out of high school and the portal) AND develop their players (just look at the number of Aggies at the combine this year), I have a feeling that they're going to keep getting better. I'm super excited about Elko's year 3!

      Miami got lucky? Let me guess, Texas got lucky too? Convenient that any time Tam played anyone decent, the other team got lucky.... Tam had an easy schedule last year and was lucky to even make the playoffs, only to fold again.

      @jacobcrowell2537They had a comically weak schedule last year. Pate had a mini meltdown when they got packed up by Texas. He was in complete denial. He's an Aggie apologist

      @jshooper7819 you have an insane definition of a bad season. So everyone other than Indiana is a joke bc they lost? You do you man I’m gonna be over here actually enjoying my hobbies. Top 10 strength of record, Top 20 strength of schedule by the way, but feel free to ignore the stats that don’t help your point I guess

  • @Sm0keYaLat3r

    Mediocrity is aggys greatest tradition. They choke massively in their first ever playoff game; proceed to print shirts, cups, hats, etc. They win one out of three games against the #1 softball team in the country; celebrate like they won a natty. They constantly use The University of Texas as their measuring stick for success in everything that they do. The words "potential" and "almost" are spoken in every sentence regarding literally any of their team sports (except equestrian and meat judging). I don't know how much they're paying you, but it must be a whole hell of a lot for it to convince you that aggy will ever be anything more than average at best.

    • @StevenMurray-b1s
      @StevenMurray-b1s 9 days ago +1

      Can't take you seriously, particularly using the made-up moniker "Aggy". No, A&M does not measure itself against that school in Austin. But I can look over that way and see a school that literally steals from others and then claims those as their tradition. Oh, A&M has a cannon! We must have one too! Oh, Purdue has a giant drum! Get one now to Austin and claim it to be the biggest and best. A&M has Bonfire; lets do a "hex" rally, that'll show 'em. OU is our biggest rival, sips say, but then when they sing their fight song, the words "and it's goodbye to A&M" are sung but there is no mention of the Sooners. Oh, throw in that you see the A&M baseball program reaching heights it had never been to before, so you get your AD to conspire with A&M's coach at the time to not only steal him away but also to very likely sabotage A&M's greatest ever baseball season. Sips suck, everyone else in the college sports world knows it, yet you clowns whine about this and that on a consistent basis.

  • @jshooper7819
    @jshooper7819 10 days ago +5

    Pate's love for A&M is similar to his love for Trump. Just blindly powering through despite the evidence of how clownish they are. I think he just loves them because they're one of the most right wing Universities in the country. Their culture is bizarre and embarrassing.

      @DMS-pq8Pate claimed to not be about politics and then eagerly welcomed a convicted felon, war criminal, Epstein PDF with a 33% approval rating onto his show after saying he'd avoid ever being political.
      Nothing he says has any credibility anymore.
      Just like how he tries to prop up an A&M program that hasn't won anything in 100 years.
