That's how I feel... im a bit worried about reloading the talent that left to the NFL and how the offense will perform Additionally I think our schedule is a bit harder than last year so that's concerning But I trust in Elko's direction!
@blakehancock1691 Why does every single tu fan have to be so insufferable. I have several friends who go to Texas, so I know it ain't all yall but geez get a life.
As an Aggie fan, anything over 9 wins will be a great year. Anything under 8 would be devastating. I trust in Elko but don't have high expectations for this year.
To win it all, Reed must become a consistent dual threat QB, or at least protect the ball well and let the others get the yards. No QB improvement = no natty
Fortunately if theres 1 thing our new qb coach is good at, its preventing turnovers. Its also absolutely the only thing he's good at, but hes good at it.
Im just enjoying the ride. I will travel and see my team win or lose. But i am enjoying the attention the program is getting and I just want one natty before i die.
The mood is great. We have one of the best coaches in football and the resources to be in the discussion every year. Still have some hurdles (e.g., Texas, brutal 2026 schedule), but the recent positive trend is undeniable
I think they will be competitive. Something is missing though. There are positions that Im concerned about but if there is a true effort on the field Im good with that. Im not an Aggie fan because they are good, Im just an Aggie fan. . Gig em!
As an Aggie, I have 100% confidence in our fan base and our resources. I have zero faith in the people with the power to make decisions. It was our fan base that saved us from wasting a second fortune on Stoops.
A&M had a great season last year. During the CFP, talking heads kept saying that ND was the only team that could beat Indiana, and A&M beat them at their house - Miami also beat them, and Miami showed the world that they were easily the 2nd best team in college football (and was right up there with Indiana in the championship game). Miami got lucky to get out of Kyle Field with a win in the CFP. All that said ... that was last year's team - but with the way Elko and his staff recruit (out of high school and the portal) AND develop their players (just look at the number of Aggies at the combine this year), I have a feeling that they're going to keep getting better. I'm super excited about Elko's year 3!
Miami got lucky? Let me guess, Texas got lucky too? Convenient that any time Tam played anyone decent, the other team got lucky.... Tam had an easy schedule last year and was lucky to even make the playoffs, only to fold again.
I think it’s because Looch has done his best to cultivate a relationship with Josh in an attempt to gain more exposure. This is a common marketing tactic.
@jacobcrowell2537They had a comically weak schedule last year. Pate had a mini meltdown when they got packed up by Texas. He was in complete denial. He's an Aggie apologist
@jshooper7819 you have an insane definition of a bad season. So everyone other than Indiana is a joke bc they lost? You do you man I’m gonna be over here actually enjoying my hobbies. Top 10 strength of record, Top 20 strength of schedule by the way, but feel free to ignore the stats that don’t help your point I guess
Mediocrity is aggys greatest tradition. They choke massively in their first ever playoff game; proceed to print shirts, cups, hats, etc. They win one out of three games against the #1 softball team in the country; celebrate like they won a natty. They constantly use The University of Texas as their measuring stick for success in everything that they do. The words "potential" and "almost" are spoken in every sentence regarding literally any of their team sports (except equestrian and meat judging). I don't know how much they're paying you, but it must be a whole hell of a lot for it to convince you that aggy will ever be anything more than average at best.
Can't take you seriously, particularly using the made-up moniker "Aggy". No, A&M does not measure itself against that school in Austin. But I can look over that way and see a school that literally steals from others and then claims those as their tradition. Oh, A&M has a cannon! We must have one too! Oh, Purdue has a giant drum! Get one now to Austin and claim it to be the biggest and best. A&M has Bonfire; lets do a "hex" rally, that'll show 'em. OU is our biggest rival, sips say, but then when they sing their fight song, the words "and it's goodbye to A&M" are sung but there is no mention of the Sooners. Oh, throw in that you see the A&M baseball program reaching heights it had never been to before, so you get your AD to conspire with A&M's coach at the time to not only steal him away but also to very likely sabotage A&M's greatest ever baseball season. Sips suck, everyone else in the college sports world knows it, yet you clowns whine about this and that on a consistent basis.
Pate's love for A&M is similar to his love for Trump. Just blindly powering through despite the evidence of how clownish they are. I think he just loves them because they're one of the most right wing Universities in the country. Their culture is bizarre and embarrassing.
@DMS-pq8Pate claimed to not be about politics and then eagerly welcomed a convicted felon, war criminal, Epstein PDF with a 33% approval rating onto his show after saying he'd avoid ever being political. Nothing he says has any credibility anymore. Just like how he tries to prop up an A&M program that hasn't won anything in 100 years.

I feel cautiously optimistic, I have full faith in Elko and our future, but I'm nervous about next season.
That’s because you gotta play big brother… get used to it 🤘🏽
That's how I feel... im a bit worried about reloading the talent that left to the NFL and how the offense will perform

The schedule is brutal. I have tempered expectations for next year.

Aggies trust in Elko! 👍

Before you talk about the national championship, maybe set your sights on going to Atlanta.
@es330tdwho cares about Atlanta
Fortunately if theres 1 thing our new qb coach is good at, its preventing turnovers. Its also absolutely the only thing he's good at, but hes good at it.
Also, Josh, your merchandise store should have school themed gear, like my Aggies.
Im just enjoying the ride. I will travel and see my team win or lose. But i am enjoying the attention the program is getting and I just want one natty before i die.

here so early it hurts
Optimistic considering Elko is way ahead of schedule and building from within
I think they will be competitive. Something is missing though. There are positions that Im concerned about but if there is a true effort on the field Im good with that. Im not an Aggie fan because they are good, Im just an Aggie fan. . Gig em!
As our volleyball coach had said all this last season, why NOT us?!
As an Aggie, I am not expecting this coming season to be as good as 2025 was, but I am more optimistic for 2027.
As an Aggie, I have 100% confidence in our fan base and our resources. I have zero faith in the people with the power to make decisions. It was our fan base that saved us from wasting a second fortune on Stoops.
As a former student, I agree!
COLGA shoutout!
Roller blade across the highway

What show was this from? I watched the one last night and don’t remember this segment
The mood tracker for this Aggie reads somewhere between extreme depression and total nihilism.
Thank God Jesus doesn’t consistently let me down like our football team does.
I trust in Elko. Gigem Aggies
Mood stays the same.
Tam is nothing but fool's gold. they had a very favorable schedule last season and folded against any decent opponent.
Didn’t they beat LSU 45-15 or something?
It's great cause it's April ask them in November 😂
My mood was pretty good in november, thanks for asking.
Speaking as a long time Aggie, as most fans and they will tell you we hope for the best but expect mediocrity
Dude we are a Cult, but in the very best way. And until we compete for a Natty, A&M football is just Fool's Gold.
The very best way? 👌
@randybobandy9061And we don't throw trash on our field in a fit of drunken stupor...
As a Aggie, the only thing I fear right now is South Carolina. I don't think I'll ever recover from the trauma that the last 2 games have brought ;-;
You also fear athletic success. Don’t forget that one.
Ags gonna hit the ground running
Every year since last century the farmers think they will win it all. Then they don't win anything. Sometimes they fire their coach. Rinse and repeat.
This is so dumb lol
Getting dogwalked when they play Texas again
Elko wont be happy until they build a golden corral right next to his house 😅😅
Wasn’t your coach an alcoholic?
@Collinoscopy1Used to be yes
Josh Pate has been single handily trying to keep A&M relevant for years now. 😂 Dude loves coddling and coping for them. He's like the Aggie whisperer.
I think it’s because Looch has done his best to cultivate a relationship with Josh in an attempt to gain more exposure. This is a common marketing tactic.
We went 11-1 with a playoff appearance last year… sounds like you’re the one coping
@jacobcrowell2537you got bounced by Texas and then bounced immediately in the playoffs scoring 3 points in Kyle field
@jacobcrowell2537They had a comically weak schedule last year. Pate had a mini meltdown when they got packed up by Texas. He was in complete denial. He's an Aggie apologist

Or maybe normal people aren't all about politics 24/7
Well, yes this is true but so is the inverse.
@DMS-pq8Pate claimed to not be about politics and then eagerly welcomed a convicted felon, war criminal, Epstein PDF with a 33% approval rating onto his show after saying he'd avoid ever being political.

@LoganKyle-k5j - A Pepe meme in a white A&M hood is very "on brand."
