Love to hate you is probably one of the most realistic romance (displays of affection wise) 've ever seen. They are so natural in their sceens, such a good chemistry. I love it.
It was really different from most KDramas to me. I couldn't explain why, but I loved it. It was so funny, and I loved their relationship. Highly recommend it.
@@annmcconnell2099 i think because of the naturality between them. They were really couplelike, an average pair would so stuff they did.
Ya..but 10ep not enough
😊
agreed!
Can't get enough if the series
List of Dramas in Video:
00:34 Duty After School
01:45 Divorce Attorney Shin
02:46 Strangers Again
04:02 Kokdu: Season of Deity
05:03 Agency
06:02 The Heavenly Idol
07:14 Our Blooming Youth
08:13 Call It Love
09:14 Crash Course In Romance
10:12 Love to Hate You
11:01 Taxi Driver S2
11:54 The Glory Part 2
How is this ranked? This is a MDL video and on the site itself this is not the order of ranking. For example Duty After School 8.7 Divorce Attorney Shin 8.3 while The Heavenly Idol 7.8 and Kokdu: Season of Deity 7.4 (this used to be 5.4 but jumped recently which is surprising. So how are these rankings done??
@@ttsiaras I don't think it's an actual ranking in this video, merely just a list of series, arranged randomly. In MDL the ratings seems to live all the time, depending how drama fans give their ratings.
@@rituhoo if it is arrange randomly, that would make more sense although a couple of the dramas like Kokdu probably should not be on this list at all. I believe the previous video where there was a direct ranking of the top rated videos, my heavenly, Idol came in at number one, which made no sense at all so I’m suspicious of the rankings.
The secret romantic guest house and family unbreakable bond ❤❤❤ highly recommended
Tyyy
The Glory is such a masterpiece. I was not sure because of the slow pace at the beginning but the actors are so good and the plot was executed very well. It is mu highest rated kdrama till yet 9/10
finished watching yesterday and i must say it truly holds the suspense till the end👌☠️love it!
Our Blooming Youth is a very nice k-drama, very interesting, and my favorite so far in 2023. I just found myself analyzing also every mystery as the story progressed which made me feel as if I am also part of the story. When they cry, I also cried . . . when they are happy, my heart was full. I liked how the highlights of each episode were presented and the varied emotions were perfectly shown by the characters. Special mention to the lead actor who played crown prince Lee Hwan, Park Hyung Sik. Hats off to you!
Personally, the two real gems of this season are the glory and call it love. The Glory was simply a masterpiece; so brutal and raw, yet executed so brilliantly without any drag. It was painfully beautiful in a way. However, I don’t understand why Call it Love isn’t talked about more when it was honestly so beautiful. Both k-dramas are about revenge, however they are both executed so differently that you can’t help but be impressed. The male lead in Call it Love deserves an award honestly. He was so warm despite everything evil around him. Everything about his character was portrayed through his little actions without him saying a word: his hunched over back, his sad eyes, his lonely long walks, his constant apologies, and his forced smile. I just have a strong weakness towards seeing a broken soul finally mend itself back to one piece. The beautiful bright smiles from the leads at the end was EVERYTHING; they truly healed each other that I was constantly crying happy tears while watching this k-drama. Don’t miss out on this masterpiece❤
😊😅😅😅😊😊😊😊😊
The actor in Call it Love is excellent. He is a serial killer in another recent KDramas and I haven't been able to watch it yet cause I don't want to see him in that role! In The Secret Life of My Secretary he is hilarious! He is very versatile.
@@annmcconnell2099 I hadn’t watched him in “major” or lead roles before Call it love. What is the new series? I cannot picture him as a serial killer; he just looked like the kindest soul in call it love! Nevertheless, I think actors should try all sorts of roles rather than sticking to the same character constantly.
Taxi driver!!! Can’t wait for season 3. It’s about time the Koreans keep the series going
Bora Deborah is my favourite drama of the 2023 as of now..... Must watch ....the chemistry the breakup , side character all were amazing.🧡
Love to hate you is just too good to be true!!!!! Congrats to all the cast !!!!!!! I love it!
I’m with you. From beginning to end… great!
Oh yes! I love Divorce Atty Shin. I’ll watch it again and I’m sad that it ended already
Agency was fire. It definitely needs to be talked about more. Everything was on point, the cast, the story, characters were very 3 dimensional and real. It has drama, revenge, struggle, a touch of romance, office politics, and it knows how to hit the feels. Plus the main character is a badass who deserves to be at the top. But I don't see many people in the west mention it, and it's a shame.
And there was lots of business psychology lessons shared in it
Taxi driver have renewed for 3rd season. Taxi driver is a masterpiece. Both 1&2 season highly recommend. Our Blooming youth was perfect. Nothing more or nothing less.
Taxi driver 1....but in last episode i get goosebumps....how they connect all stories perfectly..

So as someone who Only recently discovered Kdramas i think am in Love... i randomly stumbled onto alchemy of souls and it opened up a window on somthing amazing. Ive now watched alchemy of souls, vincenzo, business proposal, the glory and i just finshed "the glory" and i found it jaw dropping how dark, empowering, pure, lovely Honestly each one has been art to me ive now watched them in english and Native.
I know have a long list of Kdramas am going through!!!!
I am 3 years in to completely leaving American TV and only watching Korean. There are some amazing 'variety' shows also. You can learn a lot of social customs that way. I do not regret it at all. So glad there are so many to watch now, I can't even keep up. There are many classics you need to watch. One of my all-time favorites is My Mister. What's wrong with Secretary Kim. Enjoy this new world. It's amazing. All of the ones on this list are good for future watching.
If you’re new to kdrama, welcome to the club. There’s so much to watch. I’d highly suggest my favorites like Healer, Flower of Evil, Mouse, Signal, Voice and Descendant of the Sun.
Korean odessy
Welcome! I’m pretty new too, but have quite a few under my belt since I’m obsessed lol
I rec-mr. sunshine, the crowned clown, under the queen umbrella, Crash Landing on you, Kingdom, The king, eternal monarch, nevertheless, that winter the wind blows, bossam-steal the fate, Mr queen. And I’m watching Vincenzo right now. I grade them on 1 to 5 scale, and the ones I shared are just some of my fives 😊 happy watching!
Currently watching Call it love. Its a really good drama because its very different from the cliché rom kons I've watched before. Am really enjoying it

Our Blooming Youth is a beautiful unique drama! 👍 Neither too fast or too slow, this series is perfectly paced. The chemistry is beyond words! Its intriguing but heartwarming! The romance was so classy and refined. The emotions is mesmerizing and is definitely worth watching.Thumbs up to the whole team. Watchingfrom Europe🗼
One of the best dramas 👏

@@dorisang6016 I haven't finished it yet, have two more episodes to go 😅 hope I am not heartbroken in the end
Bloom youth was so slow, that I dropped it . I’m watching Joseon Attorny and it’s so good . Way better than Blooming youth
@@xi5lvviewers and audience please point out the negative aspect also , the present situation of kdrama is so much pathetic the viewers are tired and not interested to watch bored repeated theme stories and most of the heroines/ hero are old age not leaving the field not think about their retirement or switch to character roles ..me and my friends are stopped to watch kdramas only very few..eg call it love, love to hate you,the real has come .
Hundreds coming and most of them are boring
Call it love was truly amazing. It had everything and the cinematography was outstanding.

I am here for my idol hyung sik!!! I will always support him no matter what!!! watching all of his kdrama and I believe Hyunsik is super VERSATILE actor. He can act different genra romcom/romance, action , drama, horror, elite and most of all comedy of which so hard to portray on how to make his audience laugh . Addition to that he is a total performer who can sing, dance , pianist, scuba diver, car racer, horse rider, superb theatre actor , handsome and good son and friend!!! A Total package. Thats my opinion and you just have to respect it. So I will never get tired supporting him in all that He does!!!👍👍👏🏻👏🏻😘😘😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊bye….

Currently watching Our Blooming Youth! A beautiful drama!❤️The cinematography, the vibes and the Ost, everything is perfect! The plot and the story line , didn't feel to rush and the romance is quite different from other dramas, it's very gentle and heartwarming! so lovely and relatable!👌🤗 not too much kissing and exaggerating acts! 🤩The main leads have Great chemistry and it is definitely worth to watch! Watching from Germany🇩🇪
I will have to try it sounds great. From Canada.
My new favorite show . .Beautiful in every way .
Same. Missing 2 episodes and loving it so far
Have to disagree with you - it's so slow, so cliched, so dull and is lacking in anything original.
I enjoyed Our Blooming Youth. It is one of my favorites for 2023. For the past 10 weeks I couldn't wait for new episodes of Our Blooming Youth to come out on Monday and Tuesday. There is a mystery that I found very interesting, so the viewer has to pay attention. I thought the acting was great at all levels. I liked the characters. I don't wish to write much about it because I don't want to spoil it for others, but I will mention one of my favorite scenes. I liked the way shadows of two characters were used to display the feelings of one character towards the other. I thought it was an excellent scene and well done by the people in front of and behind the cameras. It seems like the ratings were low for this k-drama as reported on AsianWiki, but as I wrote before I looked forward to this k-drama.
nobody talks about love to hate you? I m in love with this kdrama, it's so funny!! Also a very nice love story. I've watched already 3 times! give it a change if you liked business proposal.
I was surprised it didn’t get more love. Like this show was freaking awesome. I have watched it twice already 😂😂
yeah the best for me love to hate you
True to love/borah deborah is a must watch kdrama in 2023 i loved it💗
I recommend duty after school 🥺it's too good 💗 definitely uh guys go through it.
Concept is different so good 🤗
The glory, Love to hate you, Taxi driver, Our blooming young are the best k-drama 2023 🥰
Duty after school is good
Waiting for another set of episodes..❤
Love to hate you is So full of energy and emotions, a beautiful k-drama that keeps you clued
yeap, agreed!
I absolutely enjoyed the glory part 2 it's worth a watch ❤❤❤💯
Just finished Reborn Rich. I would add it to this list. It’s like The Glory with the revenge premise, and funny enough the protagonist is The Glory’s ex husband irl lol both of them released revenge dramas on the same time 😂 its like a fantasy most of us dream about, what would we do if we were reborn with all the knowledge from the previous life? He used the knowledge to become filthy rich and get revenge. I recommend.
Reborn rich is from 2022 this list is for 2023 dramas and yes this show is good and intriguing
Disagree. It was so hard to continue. I dropped it in the 5th episode. Just couldnt hold on. I just might give it another go since you think its good.
I’ll add it to my Watch list 😊
Reborn Rich started off strong. The first and second act were fantastic, I couldn't wait for the next episode. Unfortunately , the last act wasn't as compelling. Its definitely worth the watch but I felt something was missing at the end, but I dont know what though.
best i have seen this year is The glory, crash course in romance and duty after school
Blooming Youth! favorite hyungsik! classic and classy drama. Watching from LAS VEGAS. director cinematography is perfect
It was a beautiful drama in every way. And the crown prince was stunning.

The Glory was excellent, story, Acting and Plot. The Darkest look into human nature in a drama I have seen so far.
Heavenly Idol was a very cute Romcom.Good over evil.

Our Blooming Youth the best Kdrama EVER !!!!!!!! Special mention for Park Hyung-Sik who is an excellent actor .... because he could BECOME a real crown prince ... this tv show is just perfect
Agree! 💯👍🤴
He really is an incredible crown, prince. So regal and handsome. Excellent acting.

Hyungsik Sound truck krama and Happiness also so good to watch. 🎉🎉🎉

In my opinion Taxi Driver 2 should rank #1 because of it's brilliant and smart script.
That’s how I feel about the glory! So I’ll definitely have to watch taxi driver
Please review more historical period dramas. Thank you!
Those actually are my favorite! Let me know if you need any ideas on what to watch 😁
Thanks for your reply. I would love to see your list-In case there are any historical period dramas that I have missed! 👍🙏
Love to hate you...is just awesome....I love it , I laughed a lot ...and their chemistry..so pure and the female lead just 😘
Acting plus looks keeps me going while watching a korean drama...infact sometime it so happens that the actor enacts his role so well that his character is enuf to make the drama a hit rather his face...such is the standard of korean actors irrespective of them coming from idol background or not...
Divorce attorney Shin, the best movie ever!!!!! Crash course in romance has so much to offer to its viewers: better eating habits as well as staying out of unnecessary gossip. Finally, education can never be a wrong answer. I loved this movie so much. I wish I could find the healthy foods they show. I live in Savannah, GA, I am in search of the best Korean foods.
It’s so great to learn how to cook new cuisines. I want to get adept at Korean dishes as well. But pork free as much as possible.
@@sssparkle Especially the Korean Side Dishes! All healthy, fresh ingredients.
Song Rye Kyo is my favorite Korean actress. She is very convincing in every role she plays. Loved K-drama, "That Winter, the Wind Blows." Of course, the male protagonist was fabulous in his role and all the other actors, as well. Of course, I cried my eyes off. I had to replay over and over again as I do not speak Korean.
I loved ‘That winter …’ - fantastic acting particularly from the male lead. And that song was perfect 😍
So handsome Hwarang king Park hyungsik❤❤❤
He’s such a dreamboat ❤
I really enjoyed Crash Course in Love and Love to Hate You.
Divorce Attorney Shin, OASIS and Our Blooming Youth are definitely one of the best Korean drama show you'll need to watch.
i have a request to you 🫠🫠
can u make a video of upcoming long kdramas dramas that exceed 50 episodes 😅🥹🥹
I couldn't get through Kokdu. Episode 1 was enough for me to know I'm not vibing with it. 😅
I finished the dramas and tbh the first ep was boring, the others were like okay in summary it's similar Angel's last mission love, doom at your service
I put myself through 7 episodes just because I love both actors but I gave up honestly 😂
But I feel like both doom at you service and Angel's last mission were really well written dramas with a beautifully composed story and Kokdu compared to them still isn't that good n convincing of a story
@@tasneemzarrouk8079 I mean the story was a bit similar to it like how kokdu is not a human and what others will happen , I too prefer them more than kokdu
I forced myself to finish kokdu. It was just a waste of time.
Until this Day nothing compares to "That's Ok it's Love"[2014] and "Cunning Single Lady" Honorable Mention "This winter the Wind blows"❤❤❤
I agree with you, those were great dramas with also Kill me heal me 😂
The only one I’ve seen is the winter, the wind blows, and I thoroughly enjoyed it 🩷 i’ll add your other recs to my list
@@sssparkle You won't regret it!!! both are on the Viki App❤️❤️❤️

The glory might be my favorite kdrama ever. I absolutely loved how mature and serious it was. I've been trying to find shows that feel similarly or just have a good plot with mature themes and I've been struggling. Recommendations are very welcome.
I like Glory but i prefer so much better My name, propably because of main cast.

@@sssparkle Will do! Thanks!
Call it love, our blooming youth, joseon atty there all good❤❤
Even if you're like me who is not into K-Pop, Heavenly Idol is a must watch. I stay away from younger actors/high school dramas(unless is a high school flashback) This was funny. Kim Min-Gue's acting actually made me believe that he was old(I will not spoil) just watch and laugh. Ending meh..but it was worth the watch. "Crash course in romance" was pretty good. I am not into older women(even though I am an oldie)-younger man dramas but this one was done realistically and in good taste. "Love to hate you" Both characters are actually awful human beings(he is less but is awful none the less) and I think this is why this drama worked so well with me. The actors' comedic timing was right on. I was dying that's how stupid and funny these people were. I loved "Taxi driver 1" part 2 not so much but it was not- forced to watch because I watched part 1 drama. I just continued watching till the end and moved on to the next drama. "Glory 2" did not disappoint. I felt horrible feeling bad for 1 of the "bad characters" I thought he/she (don't want to give a hint of spoil) had a bit of redeeming quality to them. The only thing I did not like about this drama is the fact that just because you were a douche in high school doesn't mean you will be a douche when you get older. Granted it may be a precursor of what your character will become but, some people do mature and sometimes try very hard to atone for who they were before. So I would have loved to see at least 1 character atone, not because they were forced, but because they actually felt horrible for what they did or allowed to be done to her.
in short, what do you want to say
@@youdidist 🤷♀️
I agree with most of what you said, but hated Heavenly Idol. The Dark One was boring and the kpop stuff was insipid. More people loved this so that is me (although overall rating is poor so not just me. Diferences!
@T T I can see your point. I actually did not read the reviews.l for it because, again, the idol stuff is not for me, but I must admit seeing him trying modern stuff was funny. Shoot, now that I am reading your message, it does get redundant.
@@TheProudWife515 😁I just think objectively (others opinion) and subjectively THI just wasn't that good of a drama. Not that it doesn't have its merits. So to be ranked higher than better shows perplexes me.

The worst one I’ve seen so far this year has to be Call it Love, unless you like seeing people wallowing in misery just give it a miss.
Lee sung kyung is a great actress who keeps getting alot of miss kdrama projects since bokju and doctor rom those 2 are the only promising and she has a lot of kdrama titles thats so meh
Call it love is for people who like slow melodrama. For me it was so slow and I can feel time passing. It is not everyone's cup of tea.
@@Soypotat0.0 I don’t mind a slow burn romance (Summer Strike for eg) but CIL was just so miserable and almost all the characters were unhappy in some way. Each episode seemed like hours.

The best the Glory has been nominated for 7 awards plus SHK nominated for best actress award show on April 28th💐💚💐💚
The Glory deserves to win some awards and I wouldn't have a problem w/ SHK winning best actress, but I wouldn't have a problem with PEB or KHS winning best actress either. IMHO, I think it should come down to SHK and THE so LEG will win. :-)
Damn auto correct. It should be KHS for THE and PEB for LEG, and KHS is for Kim Hye-soo for Under the Queen's Umbrella, and PEB is for Park Eun-bin for Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

i really enjoyed Crash Romance. The lead actress is adorable and funny! A true Star! All the ladies in the drama make the show fun to watch. They make the drama. The writing is simple but clever and warm-hearted. i would watch the actor that plays the "killer" ( in Crash Romance) in an action movie. The actor playing the "killer" was not mean enough to be disgusting. However, his physicality shined through! i would watch him get physical in a spy movie: he would have been a great "Johnny Utah/Keanu Reeve" in "Point Break" movie.
that guy is also the villain in the taxi driver, tell me if im wrong
