Sa Japan nga mas pabor pa sila na itapon yung mga medyo lapse ng goods kaysa ipamahagi sa mga tao kasi ayaw nila na mamihasa yung tao at umasa sa kawang gawa. Kaya karamihan din sa mga tao doon may pride at mas magbabanat ng buto kaysa iasa sa iba yung kapakinabangan naman nila.
Most of the charity and philantrophy works around the world are owned by the richest and most powerful people, if they really want to help why do they resort to crowd funding if they already have the resources? Because they know how cashflow and taxation works and charity organizations are either not or less subjected to tax (which would benefit their business revenue - if you're getting the drift). In the Philippines ijustify na lahat para lang makahingi ng ayuda pero in the end exploited naman lagi ang mahirap. Mumug lang ng tinapay na para sa kanila ang totoo nilang natatanggap. And people who exploit the system are likely to promote it and mask it as a "genuine way" in helping the poor.

With these arguments between them, I do realize na highest form of help that you can give isn't helping with nothing to expect in return.

Naalala ko yung sinabi ng prof. ko noong nasa lawschool ako. Mahirap makipag-argumento sa taong walang alam dahil hindi nagtatagpo ang inyong punto. Kaya may abogado sa korte bilang representative dahil hindi matatapos at walang pupuntahan ang trial kung yung isang party walang alam. In this case, si Mr. Libayan ang may alam si Mr. Zack yung meron man pero kulang kaya laging may lumilihis ng issue. Dito mo rin makikita kung sinu-sino ang kulang parin sa kaalaman base kung pano sila magcomment. Yung issue hindi tao di na dapat bago yan sa atin yan. Kaya nga ang icacall out ay yung gawa hindi icacancel yong tao.

A lot of the privileged kids today are forgetting that this country is poor.
This is really making me sad. These two gentleman are my idols and inspirations. Atty Libayan has the best commentary in every issue I have ever seen and heard in RUclips while Sir Zach is for lifestyle and for OPM advocate which I am fan eversince. I hope they will settle this without adhominems and cheap shots. I'm against poverty porn too.

In the spirit of fairness I watched the video even though I unsubscribed to Makina already after being mislead and fed with emotional content that clouds the real issue of poverty porn and how it violates the anti mendicany law. This is a prime example of two things that seem true. On one hand we see the good intentions of giving what we have to spare, being generous, charitable because of genuine empathy, selflessness, mercy, kindness, and the will to do other good deeds. However on the other hand, creating content out of it (this is why I thank attorney Libayan for advocating and enlightening me about this issue through these videos against videos making content from poverty porn), showing it off becomes illegal as it tolerates mendicancy, disregards dignity, promotes virtue signaling, and many more. Whatever happened to “DONATING” to churches, or charitable institutions, or orphanage, or the DSWD? BIR nga may “donor’s tax” eh. Siyempre ang donor ang mag bayad dahil assumed by law na mas may kaya siya para siya ay mamigay (sorry off topic). Simple lang naman ang tanong dapat at matagal na ipinaglaban ni attorney, “dapat ba na ang content sa modern idiot box (RUclips) that we consume should be at the expense of the dignity of the less fortunate“? Marami naman pang malaman at garbage content that we can consume for education or simple entertainment. Ang masama kasi ginamit na para sumikat o pagkakitaan, bagay na iniiwasan ni attorney kaya siya nag ingay. Buti nga calling out lang eh. In reality kung makapal talaga kaya naman huwag pansinin at mag propagate pa rin sila sa preaching ng gospel of poverty porn. Wala kasing damdamin ang logic na gamit sa laws. Si Makina naman, ginagamit nya sa sarili nya laging yung pagiging mukhang cool pag nagsasalita. Which is effective para sa ibang tao. So pag dating sa ganung laban, may puntos si Makina. Kasi sa ganung way nang pagsasalita, sa mga hindi kilala si Atty at si Makina, kung papanoorin nila yung dalawa mag diskusyon, mas makakakuha ng supporters si Makina over Atty Libayan dahil nga nagpapanggap na cool si Makina.
