These are great! (I purchased a few years back) I did notice that you rely on the Humbucker for this video. And now I’m hearing these tones translate better while using my Humbucker guitars, Les Pauls, PRS’s, etc. and I’ve tweaked my favorites to use with single-coils too. Great stuff… STILL!!! Best! ✌🏼

Sounds great ..like a fully pro- produced studio tone that we all are hopelessly striving to achieve from our favorite records in our live mono amp rigs. It's almost like buying your favorite classic amps AND along with it a complete studio staff with sound engineer's expertise miking it etc making it sound perfect. I'll keep playing my old Marshalls for now you can but bet that in a few years when these AX8's drop off in value/favor I'll snatch one up! That tone from 2:13 to 2:48 would make it worth the entry fee alone!. ..And that Cornford lead holy mackerel thats nice. Sounds like marty Friedman back when he had good tone in the 80's.Great video!
I have a little buyers remorse for all my guitars, synths, drum kits, basses, Amps, pedals, but not with this. I have used 0.00002 percent of what it can do because every preset sounds good. And 243 Amps is seemingly overkill, but all 243 differ from each other dramatically.

Does it have trails so when you switch to a diff amp or preset, it doesn’t have that weird abrupt stop? I see that when you make a change, it does that.

Thank you very kind, no is the Helix I talk to another guy here and he told me that he encounter the same problem, I couldn't believe it that a Roland GT-8 sounded better than the Helix, the noise was incredible, and I think the big difference is your is built in the USA the Helix believe it or not in China... My question maybe could be a bit dumb but is it possible to record live with the looper a backing track made on the fly by you while switching scenes with atmosynth in order to get a 3-4 chord progression and then improvise with a lead over it?
I want to buy the 130 presets for the AX8 right NOW but first are the presets using the "stock cab packs" that came with the AX8 new or do I need to get others?Also, How do I download the presets? what software?
It's, in fact, more than 400 presets, in two versions : 1) with only stock or provided free cabs, 2) with free and commercial cabs (those are not provided of course, but the recipes to recreate them are)
Hey Bro, just purchased mega pack for AX8. Do I need to copy the cabs also to AX8 through AXE Edit? Or just copying presets will do? Secondly, 5 scenes RAR files do not open even while using UnRAR app. Kindly help. Thanks.

This video is for the older Q7 version, the new ones (Q7-Q9) are improved, as the firmware has improved too. The presets in this demo are in various packs now (Fremen's picks, Cleans & blues, metal & Brit) - it's better value for money to get the Megapack

If you have noise issues, the problem maybe elsewhere, however the AX8 is very clean sounding, no noise issues for me

More cons than pros ; it's a modeler so you're not supposed to use another guitar amp with it !

How do you make those scenes without pegging the CPU? I can never seem to use the multi delay, reverb and pitch at the same time.
There's a lot of things you can do to save CPU, but i'm not the one who would explain that to you better, there's threads on that in the forums
