yeah you're right! Music did change worldwide in the 70s because of all the technology and what not. Plus trance did start in Germany, D&B/Dubstep in the UK and Hardstyle does have its roots in the Netherland and Italy. correct me if I'm wrong though!
NO! THEY POPULARIZED IT and made it what it is today and I love them for that! Electronic Dance Music started in the streets of NEW YORK(DISCO) popularized by blacks and gays. Then in Chicago House music was created. Techno was also made in the streets of Detroit and then when Acid house was created kids in England(mid 80's) got a hold of it and the underground got bigger. LARRY LEVAN,INSTANT FUNK,DONNA SUMMERS, FIRST CHOICE! People should never forget that Disco is also a genre of EDM.
