Yesterday I prayed to God to help me with my new job. I'm a housekeeper for a nursing home and it made my day worth it I wasn't as exhausted and strained. I also had to ask him to help me cause I've been struggling with depression and wanted to know what I'm supposed to do with my life. I'm married and very happy in the marriage just not with myself and my husband had been supportive told me to give it some time and I am.
22 years later...this song still has a wonderful impact on people.... With everything going on in the world right now...we are often blind. This song reminds us that Faith and Trust in God will always get us through... No matter how dark things get there is always a light at the end of the tunnel... May Jesus be with you always...

I’m sorry for the loss of your mom at such a young age. I, too, lost my mom at a young age. I was just starting to get to know her as a woman (not just a mom). She had battled ovarian cancer off and on over a period of 7 years until it finally took her. I wish I could tell you that it gets easier with time to cope with losing your mom. It doesn’t. My mom died when I was 26 and I am now 44. I miss her everyday. I think about her everyday. I don’t cry as much as I did when the wound was fresh but my heart still aches because she is not here. She never got to see me mature into the woman I am today. I have the same hope as you, I will see her again when I get to heaven. The one piece of advice that I can offer you is, talk about her as often as you can. Keeping her memory alive somehow brings a little comfort. My condolences to you and I pray that you stay strong.

you know this song reminds me of something i figured out (or God told me) kind of recently, was the bible verse "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven." kind of has two meanings to me, while he says they will have heaven for it, in a way being persecuted gives you more chances to see God come through for you, for you to thrive despite what youve been put through. Joseph could of stayed a slave his whole life if he chose to act sourly because of the mistreatment he had been dished out or put in a worse situation if chose to sin with pharaoh's wife. He could of been angry at God at any moment feeling as tho God had abandoned him. It was cuz he chose to stay faithful despite the horrible hand he was given for no reason that he did so well. At any point he could of acted out cuz of the anger and sadness of what happened to him and most of us who read the story of joseph wouldnt of really blame him cuz we sympathize with just how hard it would of been. I think despite it not saying as much there seems to be blessings for those put in tough situations and act righteously despite it. point is: Its easy to be a good person in easy situations but how many of us can say we acted the way we should in moments that were the hardest for us like joseph did? we can see from joseph's story that the biggest of blessing come from enduring through the hardest of situations and choosing to do good anyways.
I do admit, this song has always helped me I may have different beliefs then other people, but I don't let it get in the way of certain things because God has multiple different names no matter what you believe in. Even though my beliefs are Nordic Viking belief I am happy to say, the song has helped me through all my days ever since I was the age of 3 all the way up until now being 28 years old. I've been through so much manipulated, used, lied to and abused, I have not given up my beliefs even though God's name is Odin, in my beliefs the song always helps me continue on being strong until the end. No matter what has happened and no matter what happens I will always hold the song close to my heart. 🥲

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
