Ranting DON CHARLES is letting himself down by assuming the world is against him.

  • Don Charles appearance on TalkSPORT consisted of him again claiming he is "spiritual", then assuming everyone who's ever made a statement he disagrees with has somehow made a personal attack on him and his fighters. Perhaps Don should realise that the moral high-ground is not always his, and that debate doesn't always mean disrespect.

He seems very bitter and his Davidson speech made it sound like he spoke down to him. It’s so obvious Don is a man who’s let his disappointments and own failures get to him and let everyone else feel it. Especially now when he has the higher ground for once. It’s like the 6 year old who’s lost every game on monopoly finally wins.
I also remember his take on the usyk low blow, in my eyes don is a clown, erratic, hyperbole, hypocritical and just overly aggressive. Calling usyk a cheat at the same time Dubois hit usyk with 10 low blows and head butted hrgovic to the heavens. His opinions carry no weight

Have had to laugh at him going full attack dog with the GAD is boxing under siege from spiritual woo woo .Perhaps that’s why team Dubois kept him in the cupboard.Anyhows Don love your character anyways .

One claims to be a man of god, the other and it is extremely rare in reality actually is! One is full of spite, full of anger and greed ambition for glory, the other is humbled cheerful and genuine, you decide!

Stan Dubois in an interview mentioned that he moved his son in and out of clubs in the early days because he wasn't winning and said he kept moving him around until he started winning. (or words to that effect0. After the Joyce defeat they sacked his trainer and employed mcguigan and then sacked him after the shaky performance against lorena. Despite the recent success, daniel at least on the surface doesn't seem to return the commitment and loyalty that Don Charles has given him. He doesn't seem to listen to him in the corner and listens to his dad instead, hasn't really given don any props for his victories and again thanks his dad instead.
Don has made himself look like a bit of bell*** in his recent interviews and I think the recent success has gone to his head. But in spite of that I kinda feel sorry for him because this current setup is a recipe for disaster and as soon Daniel falls short, Don is probably going to get the sack.

During one of the breaks Don was trying to get his attention back from his dad to give instructions, then Daniel jabs him on the chest and tells him to relax. He's done something similar a couple times before.
I don't think it'll last. Don might know this and this is where his frustration is coming from

Sometimes, people themselves are the architects of what they previously missed out on in life! Don takes it to the next level! i.e. he finally gets the respect he's been starving senseless for .. and chooses to 'celebrate' it by *manufacturing new disrespect towards him* (by acting disrespectfully telling people what they think - *NO ONE* has the authority to tell others what they think).

Don charles is the perfect example of age not equating to wisdom. His charge won and he is carrying on like a sore loser and an overly emotional old man. I would be embarassed to be his age and so short sighted

Trauma remembered without the emotion becomes wisdom , as Don gets so emotional one has to think how much wisdom is there at 60 odd , as you say everyone entitled to a opinion so why take it so personally?
Seems a very unstable man mentally to me

  • @DrRepper

He comes across as a pretty bitter man. I don't doubt that his self-esteem has taken a great many knocks over the years. I suspect that many of his troubles are down to his personality and the interpersonal issues he must have as a result. Much though I enjoy watching G.A.D. get the boot put into him, all that waffle about psychology was just codshit: if he was such an authority on the innermost workings of the human mind he wouldn't have climbed all over Luis Pabon in the dressing room before the Usyk fight, ranting about the height of a waistband he hadn't even seen (the boxing equivalent of approaching a police officer to tell them that you're definitely not about to commit a crime), and he wouldn't be openly impugning the faith and integrity of a clearly deeply devout Christian thinking it's going to get his fighter a rematch he emphatically is not owed. I don't think DC understands people at all; I think he finds people confusing and their motives inscrutable and the more frustrated he gets the more he burns his bridges with them.

Dons having his hour of fame, he's picking on the wrong guy calling Usyk out because everyone loves him, just because folk don't agree with Don he kicked off, wind your neck in Don before it gets up too many noses, enjoy your win and leave others alone.

Joe, I sent you a message last year about him. The guy is unstable he continuously seems ready to erupt at a second notice. He’s a bad loser, childish and can be very aggressive.
How it’s taken you all this time to realise this, well, we all have our blindspots, I suppose.
I’m sorry, but he is not a nice person. And Since I am here, Warren, Hearn, Bellew, Fearon and the list goes on, all these people are childish and very poor ambassadors for boxing.
The little Welsh pundit is an example of a humble and grown-up person, of the type we need to see more of.
Changing the subject slightly, how the hell is Bakole not in the conversation at the moment?
Have you all been told not to talk about him??
I believe he would beat Dubois and AJ, what do you think??
Maybe you could discuss him in one of your episodes.
He is the danger man, for my money. I appreciate he’s not in the Warren/Hearn stables and they know the threat he represents.
Wouldn’t stop Turki from insisting he gets a shot though.
Keep up the good work, Joe!👍👏

      (Apart from Prince Patel)

  • @paintballing489
    @paintballing489 3 дня назад +1

YES JOE! I didn't mind his religous preaching or even his emotional manner in his interviews. But taking the opportunity to lash out when he's on top just isn't classy. He could learn a thing or two from Usyk in that regard. I thought it was particuarly bad when he said in the box nation interview "'I'd expect a 2 time world champ to know how to block a jab".....c'mon man. Or accusing Usyk of cheating. What do you call the headbutts and Lo-blows? You didn't even give Joshua credit for not reacting in a similar manner to the incredibly low-blow from Dubois.
But that being said. I agree with your earlier theory he'sprobably been holding this stuff in for too long and is letting it all out. Just get back to work Don.

Deal with what occurs without adding ur own baggage to it.Don is unaware of what he's projecting coz he's so caught up in his narrative.he'll probably take it personal with DD's opponents, just for signing the match...oh u hate Daniel n me so ur agreeing to the fight😂
