As a 45-year-old woman who loves your channel, to see some of my favorite bands/artist i.e. Jeff Buckley, Kate Bush, Mazzy Star etc. being discovered, explored and cherished by a younger generation makes my heart f’ing explode. That pink copy of NFR! with the alt cover, is definitely the Urban Outfitters exclusive vinyl!! treat it with lots of care, because it’s extremely rare, and it won’t be too easy to replace unless you get the standard black vinyl with the standard cover

Some Marina recommendations I’d give you from her newest album are, the title track, Venus Fly Trap, Man’s World, Highly Emotional People, I Love You But I Love Me More, and Goodbye. Lots of people hate on ADIAML, but some of her best song writing is arguably on that record
My favorite is flowers, that one heals my heart sm 💞

Good List but I think she was a couple mid albums like Born To Die, Honeymoon, and Lust For Life
"get out of my house" is also my fav track off of that album omg! kate bush wrote that song about the shining. it's told through the point of view of the overlook hotel itself. her brain is just so huge.
I love what you said about Hole, Courtney love May not be my fav person and def is controversial but it doesn’t take away from the fact that she has made some of the best female rock albums of all time ( my opinion) and I will never stop loving Hole 🙏

I saw Florence on her HBHBHB tour and High as Hope. She made me cry both times and I’m not a crier. The energy there was crazy and she’s amazing live.

I’m not sure if you’ve ever listened to Soccer Mommy, but her vibe is Alt pop with extremely sad undertones & lyrics. My favorite album by her is “Sometimes, Forever”, and tied at second is “Color Theory” and “Clean”. I feel like you’d enjoy listening to her!
This girl has a really great taste in music, I think I'm inspired to give LDR another try. Keep on building your collection, you're in a great place to accumulate a great collection and discovery of new and older music. If you love 60's music, so try to get Oddessy And Oracle by The Zombies, that's an iconic album, I think you'll dig it.
BTW, its Vinyl not Vinyls, Vinyl is already plural, it happens.

I feel like certain artists just NEED to be played on vinyl it’s a completely different experience (Jeff being one of them🩵) I remember talking to an old coworker of mine about vinyl this old guy very John Lennon vibes and I showed him superbloom by Ashton Irwin and he was enamored he kept telling me how he couldn’t stop playing it! It’s a really cool hobby

If you want more Beatles recs, Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Rubber Soul, and White Album are great albums to check out! Also if you like Jeff Buckley, his fathers (Tim Buckley) music is also extremely beautiful but it may be painful to listen to knowing what he was like as a father to Jeff (still some of the best folk music ever I would say).

Hi Karissa, if you love mazzy star then i think you should check this out. Hope Sandoval actually did have a solo career after mazzy star broke up. it's a little bit different to the bands sound but doesn't stray too far. It's of course still BEAUTIFUL
